    I went from a GTX 970 to the 1080 and what a difference! Everything runs on Ultra Settings easy no lost frames.. little pricey but worth it.

    It pretty awesome. This one was the one with the new thermal pads. However they are coming out with a new model (FTW 2) that will have a different cooler on it ICX instead of ACX 3.0. Really look just the same. However you could almost go with 2 1070 for the price of this 1080.

    I replaced 3 GTX 980s with this and it performs better than I anticipated. DX12 runs much better on this card.

    This EVGA GTX 1080 FTW has been awesome. Great card, nice and quiet and runs all AAA games at max settings. Price drop now has them at a steal of price now that 1080 Ti's are out

    I owned this card for about 13 days and returned it for a full refund. The performance increase to the gtx 980ti is not worth the price tag. I would hold out for the GTX 1080Ti that will be the card that will future proof your system. As for the GTX 1080 FTW2 that is coming out, it's the same card with better pcb and cooler, performance will be the same.
