Honestly, I built a pretty high end new pc in anticipation of the 3000 series cards and got this to do EVGA's step up program since stock was so low. This was the fastest card my local BB had in stock. I'm using it with an older 1080p/144hz monitor and it's actually much better than I expected! (Kinda bummed I have to wait to get use my new monitor until I get the 3080 though haha)

Hitting 100fps on most games in 1080p. Best value for the money.

only complaint is with the display adapter movement away from hdmi to displayport. Cannot hear it over coolmaster cpu cooler. Runs anything I throw at it in 1080p at highest settings.

Needed to upgrade my 2 gtx 660's, had them sli spanning 3 39" tv's. Went with single 1660 TI still spanning the 3 tv's and I get better performance plus a lot better frame rates in games that did not support sli and a little better in the ones that did . Lot less power and heat . Runs quiet. I run the older games dirt 4 , dirt 3 , grid autosport and such on a pc with 4th gen I7 and DDR3

The main purpose of upgrade is for gaming. I am able to play past and present games of Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, to include Remastered, and Starcraft at highest levels. I am extremely happy with performance and quality of product using a display port (DP) cable. This GPU also gives you the option to use DP, HDMI, or DVI cable

Bought to upgrade from a GTX 1650. This is a great card that is absolutely amazing at 1080p gaming. Not to mention EVGAs customer service is the best in the industry, and the step up program is a great service if you decide you want to upgrade within 3 months. Highly recommend this card if you want to stay within 1080p.

I found the 1660TI to be a great little GPU. I had system requirements that needed some big changes due to a software purchase so I had to step up to the 3090 but unless you're doing some heavy 4K gaming, this is a great little GPU for most systems.

Best value/performance ratio Nvidia based non-RTX series card if you don't care about ray tracing/reflections. Sold out everywhere now it seems, but excellent value and solid performance. Great cooling performance--never thermal throttles unless you limit fan speed for acoustical reasons.

I got this just before the gpu shortage. I wanted this because it has the nvenc encoder that the rtx cards have. It can play games decently at 1440p, but it is more targeted for 1080p. It would also be a good streamer gpu if you play on a higher end gpu.

I bought this GPU while I am waiting for the 3000 series cards' availability to stabilize. To my surprise the performance is very good. It is able to run the new Microsoft flight simulator 2020 at high-ish settings at 1080p. Definitely will recommend for a low-cost build paired with a AMD Ryzen CPU.
