Great video card. It runs every game I play at Ultra settings on my 27" Dell 144 Mhz G-sync monitor without any issues. Current games include COD MW, Forza Horizon 4, Clancy Breakpoint, etc. It's paired with a 8700K at stock settings along with 32 gb RAM. One thing to keep in mind is that it will take 3 slots on your case. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but is worth it if you want a no compromise card without spending the additional cost of the 2080Ti.

EVGA - SUPER XC ULTRA GAMING NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card - Black/Transparent Bought this card for $800. This card drives a 2560 x 1440 monitor at 144hz just fine. Most of the games run at 144hz. New AAA titles at ultra settings wont reach the 144hz. The settings have to be adjusted and lowered. The LED can be adjusted to match the current color scheme of the PC case. It reads "EVGA | GEFORCE RTX 2080." It can be run in SLI. The card takes up 2.75 slots on the motherboard, because of the large cooler. I had to use 3 slots and 3 screws to secure it. When using the desktop the fans stop spinning. They spin up during gaming but I have not noticed any noise so far. It requires both a 6pin and 8pin connector, and needs at least a 650 Watt power supply. You can register the card on EVGA and upload the invoice for the warranty. The card booted up fine out of the box. Overall it was expensive, but you pay a premium for the high end and current tech.

I play every game with maxed out settings, and the lowest frames I've seen are around 90fps, I'm mostly hitting 144+. Great Performance, good IO, amazing temps, and superb support and warranty from EVGA. I have no qualms other than the Price per Performance, but it was worth it. I'd really only recommend if you're upgrading from a budget card but don't have enough to get a 2080ti.

ive owned this model and the black version that is 80$ cheaper and the extra few bucks are worth it for me personally. the fans are a little more quiet and i feel like the temps are a little lower, regardless of what you get te 2080 super is more then powerfull to run basically any game with ease. im a big AC fan and the games are smooth af

This graphics card preforms great, under high-ultra settings I’ve only ever capped out at 73 degrees Celcius. Better than my previous 2060 that ran 74 at mid-high settings. One downside is the size of the card. This card takes 3 expansion slots, which shuts down options such as vertical mounting and in rare cases using other expansion cards

I needed a second GPU for my TV PC, and since I already had a 2070 I thought I would upgrade my main desk GPU without going crazy with a 2080ti. This 2080 super runs my 1440p 144hz ultrawide with no issues. Very happy I went with the super and not the ti because it allowed me to use that extra money on other parts.

    Great Video Card

Final piece to my PC build. This is a big video card and honestly wish they would make some better support for these cards instead of relying on the PCI-E slot and rear screw, since there is the slightest bit of sagging on the far end of the card. Not to noticeable and probably won't affect anything if you aren't moving your computer around a lot. Game wise, I'm able to run Modern Warfare (2019) maxed out on a LG 32" LG 32GK650F (max resolution - 2560 x 1440) no issues. Looking forward to Black Ops: Cold War as I suspect this will be able to run it without issues as well. Do I recommend this video card. Definitely, but depends on what your budget is and what you currently have. I'm coming from a GTX 760, so it was a huge leap in performance for me, however if you're at a GTX 1080ti or RTX20, I'd probably recommend getting the RTX30xx series as the performance is much higher.

EVGA has always been one step ahead in the GPU market, and this is no exception. I never get temps over 32°C when playing games like Overwatch, PUBG, and Assasins Creed. (I play at FHD 1920x1080 @240hz). Glsd I picked this over the 2080ti

its been great so far. i bought this as a replacement for the founders edition that had only lasted 1 week. very silent and temps are amazing . i use it for my triple 1440p monitor set up for sim racing . i get decent frames. single monitor gaming this card is overkill. i like to use msi afterburner to monitor my temps so what i did to change the color and effect i install precision x1 app and set it to rainbow and my desired color. i uninstalled precision x1 app and it kept my color settings. i uninstalled it so that it would not conflict with my msi afterburner settings. yes it is a little more expensive than the founders edition but for cooling alone it is more than worth it .

This card does exactly what I needed it to do. I was looking for an upgrade from my founders edition 1080 until the rtx 3000's came out. Although the OC capabilities are limited, the card has plenty of power to run MS Flight Simulator 2020 on 4k with a steady 35-40 FPS (i5-9600k, 16GB, SSD). I get the occasional frame drop in the high population density areas, but things smooth out after a minute or two. The performance is well within my expectations. I read a lot of reviews about coil whine and noise, and it is worth noting here that I experienced none of those issues with or without an afterburner OC applied.

Picked this up with a discount count, so it was for the same price as the regular 2080. The Ti is just a bit too expensive for me. This card is amazing. A massive upgrade from what I was using. Ultra settings on every game I have. Like to use mods? This card lets you mod away as much as you like. I can't say enough good things about it. Not massive, easily fit into my mATX case. Looks great, has a nice backplate. Excellent thermals, fans are not loud at all. EVGA puts out quality GPUs. Not cheap, but if you don't have any other expensive hobbies it most likely can be a justifiable upgrade. Or stash the box before you get busted!

I replaced a 1080 with this card. My only disappointment is just a few days after purchasing it they announced the 3090 coming. It did offer a slight improvement over the 1080 but my main reason for replacing was due to building another computer for a family member who received my 1080. If you are running a 1080 you won't see a huge increase in performance and with the 3090 around the corner you are better off to wait. If you are running an older card this card is super fast and can run a lot of games on full 4k at 60FPS at 1080 I can run the same games 140+ fps.

After 9 years I finally decided to upgrade the video card to the latest and greatest I could afford without selling off a child or two. After 2 days of research on the latest cards I chose the RTX 2080 Super 8. I then quickly checked who had them in stock since I was growing impatient at not being able to use my computer or play games. Fortunately my local BB had one in stock so I quickly ordered it and then went to pick it up. The installation process was simple and direct. My only issue was my previous card took up only 1 slot but the new one took up 2. That meant I had to remove one of my 2 other add-in cards to make room for it. Keep that in mind if you have an older video card you are going to replace with this one. The driver installation was easy and painless. My previous card had multiple HDMI outputs which I used with my dual monitors. However the new card only has 1 HDMI output. I needed to get a DisplayPort to HDMI cable to drive the second monitor (or my projector if I swapped to that). I don't know if that is the standard in the current generation of cards or not I was able to get the required DP-HDMI cable and was ready to start using it fairly quickly. The card is certainly quieter than my previous card so that is a nice plus. The fans are rarely noticeable even when pushing the game settings to the max and playing for a couple hours at a time. The output from games is smooth and there is no noticeable lag when making large movements while playing. When doing non-gaming activities the card is not really utilized for much except dual monitor support. At some point I plan to try doing some computer vision training using the CUDA cores on the card. I expect that to perform just as well. If not then I will update my review accordingly. All in all I expect this card to last me a while. I am quite satisfied with it after 2+ months of regular use. If you are looking for a video card upgrade, you should definitely consider this card.

Very expensive, but is a great graphics card. Make sure your power supply can support this (provides enough power with all your other pieces connected), but if it can I do highly recommend. I went from a 1060 to this. The 1060 is a great graphics card from NVIDIA, and this 2080 furthers their quality product line. No issues so far. I use this for gaming on a 4k monitor, and for graphics programming/machine learning. It works great for all the above.

The RTX 2080 Super is an excellent GPU, of that there is no doubt. However, the cost, nearly $800, is going to be tough to swallow for all but the most avid and die-hard of PC owners. Most users will likely be fine with a 2070 Super while still getting to experience the early days of Ray-Tracing (I recommend the Minecraft RTX Beta, it is shockingly excellent). I had a few issues out of the box, but I have since addressed them thanks to improving my airflow and adjusting the decidedly modest stock fan curves (this thing will get HOT if you let it).

Loving this video card, I upgraded from a 1080 gtx and the difference is astounding. Runs anything in 1080 and 1440 at 60fps maxed settings. 4k is still a little rough with all settings maxed, I'm getting around 40-60fps depending on game like control, jedi fallen order, the outer worlds, rdr2 etc. Worth upgrading if you have a 1080 gtx or lower but may not be worth it if you already have the 20 series cards.

Card stays pretty cool and quiet under load. Games play smoothly at 4k (or 1920x1080 scaled up to 4k) with high/ultra settings. The fact that it's a 2.5 slot card (with 3 slots worth of PCI retention bracket) and it has such a nice and thick backplate has meant that this card has no flex whatsoever when mounted normally (horizontally) in my case with no additional support.

Incredible experience. Using this with my new build and could not be happier. Its a beast of a card. However with the 3000 series coming soon and how it compares to 1080 ti its value is a little iffy. However if you got the money its obviously a good choice.
