Customers love the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 12GB FTW3 ULTRA GAMING graphics card's performance and the improved price point. Many appreciate the high FPS in games and the aesthetically pleasing RGB lighting. While some users note higher-than-average temperatures and power consumption, the strong warranty and generally easy installation are also frequently praised.

Runs everything perfectly. Not sure why people are saying it’s hard to install. It was a piece of cake for me. Yes, the card is big, but it went right in! Highly recommend.

Runs like a dream. I get no noise, no whine, and the RGB on it looks sweet. It sags but it's nothing that
a bracket couldn't fix. EVGA has the best warranty of any brand. This card is highly recommended

I bought 3 cards total 1 new 2 used. While one of the cards was a dud I benchmarked them all. Surprisingly all performing above expectations.
The one dud card had fans that could not be controlled by evga precision x1 program. I checked cpuid and fan rpm was set to zero. Also moved bios switch located on the card with no luck. The actual physical card fans where set to ear deafening levels while trying to fix them. While I do recommend buying used from best buy try not to give yourself a headache and return card if there are any issues. Otherwise a great purchase for performance.

I’ve had a 3080 Ti Founders and 6800XT so far.
The 3080 Ti founders ran so hot even doing a thermal upgrade barely helped without a custom fan curve.
The 6800XT ran cool however freesync seems to never work that great and for the same amount of money the cards have no ability to do DLSS or ray tracing without a massive hit. I’ve also had some games run into performance issues I.e. for a horizon with slow loading unlike having 0 issues with Nicosia cards.
I did not want to buy a 3080 with 10 gigs of memory because of wanting a little more future proofing. The added 12 gigs will be sufficient for 4k and ultra HD textures in games such as far cry 6 that have a minimum of 11GB of vram.
While the 3080 Ti was fitting I sold it for extra money. But always irritated how hot it ran.
The 3080 12GB is within a 10% performance margin and the 3080 Ti is more than 10% more in price. So you’re saving at least $200-$300 plus tax and losing 3-5 fps.
The plus with the 12GB 3080 is it appears to raise your 1% fps and in some games even higher than the 3080 Ti. So for the money albeit still expensive at 1k, it will secure your 1440p settings well over 60fps for years to come.

Awesome card. EVGA has been and always been my go to brand. Also, HUGE shoutout to Best Buy for price matching the 10gb version and selling me the 12gb. Saved me a few hundred dollars lol

This is probably your best bang for your buck GPU , if you are building a budget PC and dont wanna spend the price for the 3080 Ti then this card will be your best bet!
If you can get this card for as close to as you can to MSRP then jump the gun and BUY IT! the 3080 Ti is a little bump up in performance but for about $300 dollars more , Dont think its worth it but if you want the best gpu for your money a 3080 Ti will be great but if you are on a budget then again id say this card is the best bang for your buck

This card is a beast! I was able to overclock and still get plenty out of it. After some tweaking it runs cool and quiet. I think i got some good luck with the silicon lottery on this one.
!!!!!Warning, without undercoating, my card hits 430-440 watts max peak (hwinfo reads) so pick your power supply accordingly.
Ordered online for in-store pickup and it was hassle free.

Works great, very powerful GPU. The lights and 3 fans are highly customizable. My only gripe is that it sags slightly in the slot, just due to its sheer girth. It comes with a support bracket but it is not compatible with my case, not really a big deal. A small dowel or rod would support it fine.

I bought this one thinking it would be better than the 3070 TI FTW3 ultra, sure the lighting is nice and all. I'm big fan of EVGA, I had better fps on 3070 ti (65 fps highest on maxed out settings>CYBERPUNK 2077. this card does run a little hotter 65°C versus 61°
It didn't come with a support bar which is really needed. Besides all this if your upgrading from earlier version's of any gpu this might be good for you.

Kinda overkill, pulls 400+w, but this thing gets me close to 3090 performance (at least according to 3d mark) incredible card, cooling is adequate for power draw... would recommend a good psu if you're going to play anything on it lol
VR also runs very smoothly

Super happy with this! Even though the 3080 is a couple years old as a line, I finally got my hands on one for normal MSRP. The RGB is beautiful and this has been working well with the normal games I play. Happy to be able to play on high+ specs.
