Ended up using this for an i7 Haswell build. I wasn't using a power hungry graphics card so 600W is more than plenty for this build. The build also included 2 SSDs and 2 mechanical hard drives along with a water cooling system with 4 fans total. This unit has a large exhaust fan that is whisper quiet. As long as you don't have to power a high end graphics card, this power supply will get the job done just fine.
One note...this unit is not modular so you will have to put some effort in cable management because you are bound to have left over cables. Using an NZXT S340 case, this is pretty easy to accomplish as you just keep what you don't use at the back of the case.

I spent around $100 dollars on it. I do not consider it as a good deal, but I did not have the choice. It was the only one in stock. It should be around $80 dollars. The quality overall is good. Just the price

Maybe I got unlucky, but this PSU made a LOT of noise. It was the loudest part of my build and I ended up replacing it with another one. You get what you pay for though, and it definitely does its job. Wires are MESSY.

When I opened the box and saw the protective mesh for the 24 pin psu was frayed off I was disappointed in the quality and wanted to return it but I knew it was out of stock and it doesn’t affect performance.

Don't go cheap with a power supply, and don't be fooled by the brand name. EVGA is a reputable brand, but not everything they make is high quality. This unit, after 4 months killed my 9 year old EVGA GTX 560 Ti. I replace it for a brand new Asus GTX 1650 and after one month, it killed my GTX 1650. I thought it was due to a faulty GPU. I had my GTX 1650 RMA'd and replaced. A couple weeks later of receiving my replacement GPU, my GTX 1650 died again today. I put in my spare EVGA GT 710 which I bought the first time my GTX 1650 died (I used my computer for work and I was desperate), and as I was chatting with customer support for my GTX 1650, my computer shuts off. I try to turn it back on, and it would only stay on for 5 seconds and then shut off the first time. I try it again, and I hear a lot of vibration and rattling from my PSU. I swapped it for a 9 year old TR-2 600 watt PSU which was in an older system, and now it's like the problem never happened since my GTX 1650 magically works again.

My wife's system requires 520watts per Power Supply Calculator which this should have been perfectly able to keep her system up and running. We have been having problems within the 2nd week of installing it and of course when I was thinking of returning it I was too late due to best buys 14 day return policy. It is still having problems, main issue is it powers off the computer and resets. Tested out my 900watt power supply in my computer and put it in her computer no resets and left on for 5 days with a game opened to run in the background and it has never turned off. Only recommend this for basic usage.

Bad power cord connector

This power supply had a power cord that did not connect all that securely to the power supply. Computer would randomly shut down until I figured it out. Used an old cord from a previously used computer and hasn't shut down since.
