    Very good power supply ...

Had a low-end, cheapy PSU in my rig (I know, I should know better) ... and it went up in smoke yesterday. (thankfully, it didn't take my motherboard or GPU with it). Anyways, I went to Best Buy to get a new PSU. Found this one. Got home and installed it. The wires are clean and nicely wrapped. Made for an easy install and a clean, open system. Powered up my rig and viola ... I'm back in business. My temps on my video card have gone down 15c with just this PSU. I'm guessing that my old PSU ran hot and increased the ambient temp. in my case which resulted in my GPU getting warmer than it should. Last night while gaming (World of Warcraft), the fans on my GPU never revved up to where I could hear them. This has NEVER happened. I've always heard my fans revving up in certain areas of the game, especially the login screen. Anyways, this power supply is quiet and runs cool. I am VERY happy I purchased this power supply. I love eVGA GPUs, now I love their PSU's just as much. I STRONGLY suggest buying this brand. (My next build will have an eVGA modular PSU ... probably a 650 or 850. One VERY satisfied customer right here. Buy one, you won't regret it! (not to mention, eVGA has the best customer service in the business)

You Might Need to Buy This Cable

I'm reviewing the EVGA 600W Power Supply. If you have a slim type optical drive you will probably need to buy this $8.00 power cable. It connects your optical drive to the molex plug that hangs off the EVGA 600W Power Supply. This cable worked with my Dell XPS8910 mini tower. The name of the cable is: CRJ 4-Pin Male Molex to 6 Pin Slimline SATA Sleeved Power Adapter Cable. The power supply comes with a floppy connection but not an optical drive power connection. Seriously? It's 2019. How about losing the floppy disk drive plug and provide the optical drive power plug? On the bright side, the power supply is very quiet and the price is low. Just what I needed for a PC that is used only for office work and web surfing. No gaming. No high demand graphics.

Had a PSU die on one of our work PCs and needed a replacement. I didn't need a modular so this was perfectly fine. It has been going strong and I have experienced no issues thus far!

    Great PSU for the money

This little EVGA power supply is great for the money. Given it's price, I ordered it as a spare in the event one of my PSUs go out or if I need a spare power supply for any reason. I have it working on a small ITX build, and its working flawlessly. Pros: - Very Silent fan. - Ample power for a decent build. - Decent amount of SATA connectors. - Great build quality. Cons: - For this price point, none. EVGA has great support in the event you need it. This PSU should last me a decent while.

I needed a cheap PSU and this was my go to grab off the shelf. It was, also, on sale. I does the job. I am not an 80+ tier snob. As long as it gives me the power I need for a build, I am fine with that. No complaints and is pretty quiet. It is a great buy for a low to mid power build.

I was needing a basic power supply for the budget computer I was building. I saw this in the store and for the price and watts I thought it would be a good fit. So far I have had zero problems with the power supply unit, I wasn't sure what to expect with evga considering I had not bought any of their products before. The power supply is also very quiet and I can't tell that it is running.

Great upgrade for a low price

Overall feels great, good build quality, and works exceptionally. More than enough connections for even the most demanding of builds but not so much that it's a rats nest. It's not overpriced but this is probably the best bang for your buck at this price point.

Provides the amps/current EVGA video card requires

My EVGA video cards require 20 Amps on the 12-volt line. And as I downloaded many product's owner's manuals, it became clear that not so many power supplies were up to spec. I was delighted to see this power supply packed well, includes any connector I could need and perfect cord lengths. One would hope this lasts a long time, but so far there's nothing negative about this. Outstanding value, excellent build quality and reputable brand name too.

I've been very pleasantly surprised by this power supply! I didn't expect too much at this price point, but this is REALLY quiet, allowed me to add a pretty beefy video card to my desktop, and was extremely easy to install. I would definitely recommend this!

Will get the job done on a budget! Reliable

Good unit for budget pcs. I found that for gaming and hashing this has played a part in additional glitches or reduced processing power during heavy gaming/hashing. When I replaced it with a gold rated psu, I saw a substantial recovery. Still works and I bought it in 2016 and its 2021 now. But due to the higher performance needs that my PC has I replaced it as it was showing signs of age and wear and isn't sufficient for my current needs. The cords were a nightmare as to be expected. Really rough and painful sometimes to handle this unit but that's why its a value. Definitely not a high quality performance product but will get the job done without hurting the bottom line. I will definitely have fond memories of this PSU and do recommend to anyone who is starting PC Building and doesn't need high performance/features. replacing a OEM PSU, or needs to keep a tight budget.

    Strong and Reliable power supply

I am not an expert on power supplies, but I did do a little research before I opted to buy this power supply, The online reviews had this power supply rated anywhere from 4.5 to 4.7 stars. Also, the day I saw this power supply on the Best Buy website, I was lucky that it was part of a Black Friday special-- $25 off the regular price. I've been using this power supply for two months now, and I have not had any problems. And if for some reason it fails me, it comes with a three-year warranty! :-)

Was not sure about this PS but i was surprised in how well built this was and the quality of the unit and cables i am a full modular fan but for this build it was not needed so this PS was perfect !! This installed easy and comes with hardware to mount into your case and is not a big size for any of those small case's and has ample power for most builds and has 120mm fan for cooling .. I have been building / repairing PC's/laptops for 20 yrs so for the mid level build and every day computing this PS is a good choice.
