    No Whining

A good replacement for the original power supply in my 3-year-old Dell XPS8700 mid-tower desktop, which got noisy. The EVGA is much quieter than the Corsair 650, which I returned because it made a high-pitched whining noise. The cables on the EVGA are sturdy. The only downside is that this model isn't modular, meaning that you'll probably have some (longish) cables cluttering your case that aren't used for anything.

    Working strong since 2016!

I bought this unit in August of 2016 to power a DC stereo, which needs a constant 12 volts applied to simulate a battery... so it's actually been running practically non-stop since then! I've had a few other SMPS units in the past and one thing I've noticed is this unit has relatively large heat sinks compared to others. You can usually tell by the weight of the supply. Every 6 months or so I carefully open (not recommended) the unit to remove dust accumulation as the fan is always running. While the typical load is not high, the fact that this thing has been running non-stop this long is a testament to longevity. Great PUS for a PC or a bench supply. That's my five stars.

600 Watts is plenty. Plus, it has more than enough AMPs on the 12V rail for any good video cards. Good job EVGA!

    Solid PSU all around

Picked this up to repair a system build for a client who needed his system up and running ASAP. Previous PSU was rated at 750w and failed under load with a 8700k + Vega 64. Using a meter, as soon as the PSU crossed the ~430w threshold, it would shut down. EVGA PSU is not modular, but comes ready to rumble. Quick installation test, meter showed a max pull of ~525w under stress test load and the PSU didn't even really warm up under a 1hr RealBench 2.56 stress test. FurMark and Prime95 w/ an overclock to 4.8 and GPU OC pulled ~650w and the PSU didn't skip a beat. Classic EVGA quality from start to finish.

This Power Supply is An Amazing Value

I have bought two of these so far and I run then 24/7. I get consistent power pushing a high-end GPU for days on end. Heck this thing just FEELS heavier than other PSUs in the price range. If you need a PSU this is the one to get.

this 600W Power supply was perfect for my daughters computer, her previous 550W had the fan die, and the cost to have it repaired was prohibitive, this PSU works well, and is in fact more efficient and faster by far, I love it.

    So Far So Great!

Just got this less than a month ago, but it seems to work out great so far. I will say, these are very feature rich and cables are everywhere. Thats where the problem is. I use about a couple of the cables and the rest is just baggage. Its solid quality. Works well, good efficiency apparently. Stressing my CPU, GPU doesnt faze it at all.

I've had it installed for over a year now without any problems. It's fueling a 6gb 1060 and it's doing the job. Bought it in a pinch and don't see myself replacing it anytime soon.

I have purchased 2 of these from Bestbuy. It is a great budget PSU. I used with fx6300, 750ti and no problems at all. And also the price usually drops to $30 pretty often making this a even better buy
