Good movie overall. Cast delivered a good performance and made the movie suspenseful and even comical at times. Was a good remake of the old film so if you like the original, you're sure to enjoy this one.

From the first 5 min, it grabs you. Freaky and in a lot of scenes downright disturbing. If you are into the gory horror films, this one's for you. Great pic and sound that makes you cringe.

Discs came unblemished. Contained disc with original theatrical release and disc for unrated edition. Good menus, good ease of access, good movie.

This is a darker version of the movie. The storyline stays the same but the amount of darkness and violence is turned up. Nothing like the original but still good.

I just had to get this movie since it has meaning in my life. This is the movie my fiancé and I went to the night I asked her to be my girlfriend. The cinematography in this movie is outstanding and the special effects are pretty gruesome too.

Loved the remake and that's not an easy remake to do. Loved the original and this one has that original feel to it with updated effects. Highly reccomend if you love the evil dead series.

Bloody, gory, the whole nine yards. This is a serious darker version from the original Evil Dead movies and shows. Too bad Ash is not in this.

Movie was good. Different from other horror flicks. People dying and coming back to life. 1 passage in a book made the dead rise. Really different. But I enjoyed it

the reboot of this movie actually was really good, I wanted to watch the unrated version, but you know I think I liked the original better,but best buy rocks again with this release

If youve seen the original evil dead series, this is nothing like it! Definitely recommend to viewers who enjoy good scares and gore. One of my favorites.

I am a total horror movie buff and loved this movie. It was a little gory for me but other than that I loved it! I love the plot and how the star of the original was apart of the remake! Go buy this of you like scary movies.

I'm a huge fan of Bruce Campbell and the original Evil Dead series. This movie is definitely not as good. I probably would have like it more if I had never seen the originals.

i honestly would've given this 5 stars, but for 2 reasons: she didn't lash the chainsaw to her hand, and Bruce Campbell didn't make a cameo.. great reincarnation though!!

Enjoyed it, great quality. I was a little worried with it being a remake but it wasn't too bad held some of the humor like the first one did and was high on special effects.

Great price for a blu ray and digital copy combo. One of the newest scary movies for a price that you would find at a pawn shop. I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves horror. You would not be disappointed.

It definitely shows that Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell were involved. Felt familiar but updated and attempted to put more story into the plot than the original two movies.

One of the best horror movies in a while, even for a remake. Had a completely different ending from the original and that makes it unpredictable and a little better.

I didn't think they could make a new version of this that was anywhere near the original film. Boy was I wrong. This is one of the best horror films of recent years and gorgeous on my big flat screen!
