This is not the same movie as the first. But it's a good thing because it's all gore and bloodbath and less comedic than the original. Great remake of the movie. Not for the faint of heart

If anyone likes scary and different movie they should get evil dead. You have to pay attention to it to get the movie to what happens to everyone in the movie.

Not usually one for remakes, but this movie did a great job making this more of an original/new while still paying homage to the Sam Rami movies

This new Evil Dead is way better than I was expecting.Pick this one up along with the original Evil Dead movies.Those are the classics but this one is really good and you get a much better PQ.

I have a zombie night at my house every few months. Consisting of 3 zombie films back to back and lots of drinking so I've seen every one in the book. If you enjoy zombie films this is a must buy.

The Evil Dead remake is the best remake I have seen. It changes the story so you can't guess what's going to happen next while paying tribute to the original.

The original is a classic and the remake does it justice. It's a bit more gory than the original but still makes for a very enjoyable movie.

Very scary new twist to a cult classic. Loved the original, but it was a dark comedy. This one rocked your face off and chilled to the bone. Great movie, I would recommend this movie everyone.

This remake was way better than the original. I like the original for its own reasons but it was more of a comedy horror. The new one is scary and gory which is what I'm into. Great movie!

If you love the original Evil Dead that Sam Raimi made you will love this remake. It far surpasses the original as far as cast, acting, blood, gore, special effects. It's really good :D

Ample nods to the original films, modern effects, more than ample gore, and a handful of scares make this rendition a solid horror all around.

Nothing beats the original, but this is a solid and fun remake. Pretty creepy and decent acting. Worth a watch.

Though this is a remake of the original, it holds its own. No bad CGI in it, cleverly done with prosthetics.
