The four stars is for the great Black Friday price of $9.99. The movie I’d give a three star rating for quality. It’s a decent Evil Dead movie. Though I do wish it came with spcial features on it, but that’s not Best Buy’s fault. Also, the reason I waited for a Black Friday deal to pick it up.

Blood, violence, over the top gore, quirky one liners. Evil dead has a distinct style that only Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell can match so the fact they were executive producers for this its what you want in an evil dead movie.

I always like this kind of scary movies. They’re good. My wife gets very scary easy we always watch them at night. That’s the best time.

A great addition to the Evil Dead series. Not directly tied into any previous installments and of course there's no Bruce Campbell/Ash Williams. Very well filmed. Great acting and definitely very freaky. 4K quality looks stupendous.

This movie was so well done. It evolves the concept, while going back the roots of the story. The cast is great, both the protagonist and antagonist do amazing jobs. Loved it just as much as all the other Evil Dead!

Evil Dead is one of my favorite franchises. I love all the movies, the tv show, and the video games. This movie takes it's own story but keeps it in the universe. Very well done.

There are some great references to the OG Evil Dead, but this one is able to stand on it's own legs. Gory and scary without the trope of jump scares. Love this movie and 4K release. Gets better with each rewatch

I liked the movie, but it did feel like the kids being in the movie held back on the gore factor, which to me is what makes evil dead evil dead. Some scenes couldve been better but overall, it was entertaining and a great addition to my collection. I wish it had a steelbook though.

An excellent blend of absurd humor and gore make this a fitting entry into the Evil Dead franchise. I thought this film might borrow heavily from Demons 2 but it turned out to be fairly original and have a great cast.

Tons of newer horror movies have been hit or miss and this one is a complete hit! It’s intense and has such a great story! Visually appealing one of the better recent horror movies

The 5th film in the Evil Dead franchise is a solid horror experience more akin to the original trilogy than the 2013 reboot. It's a fun, solid entry, coming in 3rd place behind Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness. Could have used some more gore but as it is it's good.

Not as good as the original but a worthy successor. It is not funny or slapstick like that original trilogy but if you’re a horror fan then it’s worth a watch.

what can I say about a great horror franchise.. this horror movie has it all .. definitely not a family movie but it does has great horror and comedy and it an adrenaline from the very start..

One of the best new Halloween movies, this one will become a classic. Good story line, suspenseful scenes, jump scare, special effects and acting.

None stop scary from starting to the final seen did not understand a single thing but it was scary i was not able to sleep for 2 nights tonight i am taking something to help me sleep

Awesome movie. I have always loved horror movies. When I came to the Jersey City location a representative was available to help me. I also love this Best Buy location.

I am a big Evil Dead fan. From Evil dead 1 to Army of Darkness through Ash Vs Evil Dead. Evil Dead 2 being my favorite. This is something new. If you’re a fan of the franchise you will not be disappointed.

This movie is Gory scary and funny if your your used to these kind of movies definitely wait till kids are askeep for this one kinda short movie story could be better but not to bad.

I heard a lot of bad reviews. There are parts of the movie that do look cheaply made but nothing that takes away from it. I personally thought it was a solid 8/10:

Instant classic horror movie with a great 4K transfer. I really wish Best Buy didn't give up on physical media.
