The DVD with this exclusive package is really pretty cool..for a greatest hits type of CD this truly has all the songs you want..

The purchase of this set is worth the cost just for the greatest hits CD that's included!

There have been a lot of War compilations and such over the years... but nothing that really did them justice. This CD rectifies that situation. Great music both old and new are to be found all over this disc. While the old material does bring back memories for those of us old enough to have heard them in the early 70s, the music is still fresh enough that youngsters (like my 25 y.o. musician son) snap their heads back and say, "Whoa, that is awesome, who IS that?!?!?" There has never been (and probably never will be) another band that sounded anything like War. They had everything: Funk, soul, jazz, urban, and multi-ethnic rhythms; harmonies; unique instrumentation; poignant lyrics; and a dozen more things I'm forgetting. In the vanilla landscape of today's hip-hop / pop scene, it is such a joy to get back to some real, unique flavor that completely stands out from the rest, makes you notice it, and makes you absolutely love it.

My mother saw this and just had to have it and she didn't realize that it has a DVD.

Their new music is as good and relevant as their music from the '70's, all good.

Great cd easy to find great service from associate

War Greatest Hits the original greatest hits of there's a classic to have plus another WAR album cd added. A dvd concert also to boot added in this package deal. The dvd concert of course is by the modern day WAR band which is done in very good WAR fashion. The instrumentals sounds are great by the band with Lonnie Jordan still tearing up the house with his soulful vocals.

I didn't even know that this set existed until I happened upon it while searching for another concert DVD.Once I saw it.I knew that I had to have it! And the price...AWESOME! Any fan of classic R&B is going to LOVE this combo package!

It was great to see them recording again. I've always loved this band, and this package included some updated old material along with a disc of all new songs. The DVD concert footage was icing on the cake.

the music was great. I would recommend it to anyone who loves rock and roll music. it was a great value for the price paid. will be back to look for more great bargains at best buy.

I am a long time War fan. The band in its prime were a musical force to be reconned with. The way they mixed genres was unmatched, especially today. The new album doesn't have the same experience. But it is worth getting for the DVD and Best of CD. Classic War is the best War....

It is about time an old skool band came up to the bat with some good excellent music. And war sounded as good as they did in the 70's

When I was a teenager War was one of my favorite bands. Low Rider, Why Can't We Be Friends, Spill The Wine, all classic songs and included in this set on the Greatest Hits cd or the DVD. The new material is classic War, just what I was hopping for.

I stumbled across this WAR set in Best Buy and decided I must have it. The music was great then and it still is. LOVE IT!

A really nice package for War fans. You get their greatest hits anthology along with their latest studio release.

Greatest hits lives up to the title. New album was surprising very good also. Haven't made it to the DVD yet.
