TFK bring some heavy groove and catchy choruses on their newest album. Definitely worth picking up.

I was disappointed with the quality of the lyrics. They did not really feel like there was a lot of effort put into them. Instrumentally it was mostly good, but lyrics can make or break an album. I was also disappointed that the bonus track was a butchered cover of a Collective Soul song with lyrics representative of spiritualism. I still love the band, but this was not a strong showing of their capabilities.

To all the haters of TFKs INHALE, you won't have anything to complain about with EXHALE, only one maybe 2 songs that aren't mosh pit material & even the songs that are dialed down have a bit of an edge to them. I'm a 35 yr old gal & gotta say, Exhale is amazing, the sound & the lyrics, WOW, just wow & my 12 yr old daughter loves this album as well. Trevor doesn't hold back on this, got some screaming, some rapping & some songs that show just how good of a singer he is, Joel & Steve get to show how talented they are also, playing through this album would give them both quite a workout! The thing that sticks out the most to me on exhale is that while it is loud & definitely mosh pit material, the lyrics of the songs are bold, this ain't just a rock album but TFK is using as a means to get a message of Gods grace, love & forgiveness out to the world. I've been fan of TFK since they just started out, seen how they struggled to walk the line between being a rock band or a rock band with a message, the lyrics in exhale leave you with no doubt why this band is a band. Exhale shows the grown up TFK, they have a message their not scared of saying & are having fun saying it. Exhale left me super impressed not just with how it sounds but with the boldness of how unashamed they are to be part of Gods army. Daughter & I are seeing TFK in august & are excited now more than ever!

I have listened to 5 of the tracks prior to the release and based on what I have heard, this is one of TFK's top albums. It may be better than The End is Where We Begin.

Exhale is a nice return to the louder and rockier version of TFK. Adrenaline is the best TFK song since Welcome To The Masquerade.
