I really enjoyed this one. I thought it was very well done, and what a bonus having it in 4K HDR.

The dvd arrived quick and I did not have any issues. Great Movie, true to the story for the most part.

A different, more scientific look at an important time in the history of Christians/Christianity

Christian Bale as usual great. BTW he played Jesus in an indie film "Mary, Mother of Jesus". Now he is Moses. His industry colleague/bestie plays Noah (Russell Crowe). Now I'm just waiting for Hollywood to make Crowe play the character of God. These 2 are trying to one-up each other in their career characters. I would call/write the new movie - "The Power of God" Why? I didn't like the kid (not Biblical) in this film playing God, because God he is our Heavenly "Father". That is the only negative aspect about this film. Other than that, the plagues and visual effects were great.

Ridley Scott's movies sometimes release to negative reviews but pick up a strong following over time (occasionally after an extended cut is released). I could see this film taking the same route. This movie is worth admission for the visuals alone. It's stunning. The performances are strong (although Sigourney Weaver seemed incredibly underutilized - I wonder if most of her performance was cut). The way the story is told and Scott's modifications seemed to make things a bit awkward. It's a solid Blu-ray from an A/V standpoint. The movie is lacking. But it's interesting nonetheless.

Love these 4k movies from best buy. I got this one and another one on sale. Pick this one up.

Hello it is the movie about religious. How the God help people. I recommend to buy this DVD.

Some were offended by the portrayal of Moses and his relationship to god, and how they portrayed God in the movie. I don't let stuff like that offend me and see it more as a metaphore or a way of showing a complicated relationship and a vehicle to show how it could have happened. Honestly, the portrayal of Moses here is probably much more realistic, and as such, I felt much more connected to the story. It will never be a "ten commandments" with Charlton Heston, but doesn't try to be either.

This is a good movie now! I liked the effects and set designs and acting too!

‘Twas good seeing Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton work together in Exodus.

Even though the movie is not based on actual events, I love action/historical movies

While it seems some of the moral lessons and conflicts in the source material seemed to fly right over the writer's head, it isn't a complete departure from the original story. The action, cinematography, and acting are all excellent. The writing is the only real complaint I have about the movie. The unnecessary changes the movie made to some of the characters and events in the story that, while I see where they were going, is still better in the source material. One change I didn't like at first but then enjoyed as the movie went on was Moses' pessimistic and rationalistic view of the world. At first I wasn't convinced but they didn't make him an edgy. His transition from agnostic to a religious leader was believable and relate-able. The story of Moses is a timeless story that anyone should have on their list to read and while not entirely true to the source material, this movie's scale and presentation more than make up for it. The 3D version is the best way to watch this movie. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great picture And great sound affect a movie you wanna watch more than once

These types of movies are difficult to make and I give praises to everyone who made this movie happen. It's kind of hard to see Christian Bale as anything else but Batman but he does a good job in this movie going away from Batman. I myself really enjoyed "The Ten Commandments" which is the movie I compare to Exodus. This was a different approach and is well done. I guess you can say more believeable since everything that happens is linked to the previous incident. Overall I enjoyed the movie and would recommend.
