This movie comes with great specials features to complement the movie. It has one of the best acting scenes I've ever seen by Brad Dourif. George C. Scott makes the character come to life. And is more true to The Exorcist and Legion. It's like a combination of both books. Also, one of the first acting roles by Samuel L. Jackson.

The directors cut is a slightly different movie. The movie that Blatty had originally intended to make and it is incredible.

I don't know if y'all know this or not, but the devil is real and he's PEED off!!!! Watch this movie, just to be warned!

The Exorcist has always been one of my favorite movies of all time and to me is one of the scariest if not scariest movies ever made and is groundbreaking in film making. so when they followed it up with a sequel, it was....very disappointing. but then something unusual happened. the writer of the original novel and screen play of the original, William Peter Blatty (who passed away today) wrote and directed a third exorcist movie (originally called legion based on his novel). This one was a much better improvement on the second. more so a cop thriller but it still has some VERY scary and disturbing moments. the only downfall was the tacked on exorcism the studio force blatty to re shoot from his original screen play but luckily a directors cut is on this disc that follows blatty's original script as close as possible to the footage that was found (some was lost or destroyed over time so its not a true directors cut) but its better then nothing. both films are good and both are def worth a watch. plus having a big actor like George C Scott in the lead doesnt hurt either. not the best movie but not the worst. if your looking for the original exorcist you will be disappointed. if your looking for a supernatural thriller with characters from the first movie, youll be entertained.

Exorcist III- Although misunderstood and critically dismissed upon initial release this film deliver like its predecessor (Exorcist II) couldn't. Georce C. Scott does a great job of playing a determined, yet baffled investigator. The blu-ray is crisp and sharp and the sound can rattle the cage at times. Overall, a worthy entry in the series.

Not as bad as The Heretic but that isn't saying much to be honest.

I love this movie it starts off slow like the second installment but overall it’s really good. I really love the picture quality and special features that’s only on shoutfactory products.

Another film added to my movie collection. The Exorcist 3 may not be for everyone but I enjoyed the film regardless

This is in my top 5 horror movies of all time. This blu ray edition is amazing I am very happy to own it you should be to.

The director's cut is the way to go! I'm not sure how popular this opinion is, but I prefer this to the original.

This is an excellent blu, and if you're a fan it's a must own! Two versions of a classic film. Highly recommended!

I've been waiting a long time for this one to be on blueray. Comes with a directors cut also. Love this movie.

I haven't seen this movie in years. I finally decided to add it to my collection. I still find this movie to be a bit boring. It's definitely better than Heretic. It also picks up some of the story from the original movie and no, i'm not talking about Regan. This is still a disappointment for an Exorcist movie. Not sure if i can really recommend this to anyone who isn't a big fan of the original.

Great set - with the never before seen Director's Cut - Shout Factory does amazing work.

The true sequel to The Exorcist. It has some good scares and the acting is good.

So, I guess it's technically a direct sequel to The Exorcist, or at least the writer's book of film version, as he also directed this. It's pretty decent until the end, either cut of the film you choose, but certainly no great shakes. I was entertained as it has a couple of good scares, but overall, rent it unless it's cheap.
