Disappointing, boring and not buying some of it!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lost interest after the fourth episode. First am highly skeptical of a lot of this. Fine with shots of them walking along mountain paths or thru the snow but that ends. Scene of Backshall hanging from his rope trying to fix it with close to the face camera shots - either cameraman right on top of him or body cam - scene in the back looking rather faded leaving me the unworthy thought "photo shopped." Another of a guy hanging there suffering from dehydration - see above camera shots - rather than getting him down immediately, and having the unworthy thought "he's standing on the ground and they're trying to make it look like he's dangling." Not to mention numerous ominous statements of the dire things that could happen - none does. Have a feeling Backshall is trying to be another Nigel Marvin and if I had to vote for the most entertaining Marvin gets the nod.
