The title of the CD says it. These songs are the best of Hendrix for the casual listener who is looking to pick up an album that covers many of the highlights Jimi put out. I am sure there are deeper cuts that are missing for the die hard fans, but this was exactly what I was looking for. I absolutely love "Crosstown Traffic".

In the mid to late 60's, rock music was heavily influenced by "power trios" like Cream, Hendrix, James Gang ect. Hendrix had his own style of playing rock and blues. It's a shame that he didn't stay around longer. This is a great collection of his hits.

Jimi Hendrix was at the forefront of rock music today. He and his band only had 3 people but sounded like 10. His guitar skills are no match for most players of today. This cd has most of his greatest hits.

The fact that they carried this at Best Buy made me buy this and more cds there. I love it here, it definitely has a great music selection Nd that helps bring more people in like myself.

The production is fabulous on this greatest hits package. What a talented musician that brought so much to the music landscape in the sixties.

Great cd with great songs and very good remastering. This cd has all of the best known songs. A good place to start if you are just getting into Hendrix.

Jimi did excellent on all songs. My favorite was the star spangled banner. Last song on cd. Need to listen over and over. Great rendition.

This is a very good collection of Hendrix songs, with lots of nice artwork. The sound quality is great for a collection of music that was recorded in the 60s.

Great album has lots of Jimis greatest songs of his career, overall would recommend but Are You Experienced is superior

I like Hendrix, but I'm no expert on his music. This was for me in the car on long drives, and it's just fine for that.

Packaged well, looks good, sounds better! Had to replace a lot of albums when my vinyl was stolen and this will do!

Great oldies music more selections Blues,Classical,Reggae,Bluegrass,CountryWestern,Soul,Rock,Pop,Disco,Latin,are needed.

There isn't a bad song on here; if you only know Purple Haze and Voodoo Child, get this CD and you'll fall in love with every song.
