The camera quality is excellent while using Ethernet connection. Have not tried the wireless feature. The software and interface are really lacking. No way to directly configure camera without using app on phone or having online access to cloud account via pc. You can not view the device from your PC unless you have internet access to their cloud website which is really disappointing. Very few options for configuration on camera. If you can get passed all of that then it is a good camera.

Okay so lets start at the beginning. Last summer I went out of my way to do my research on company's that have both indoor/outdoor cameras, after spending about 3 month going back and forth between Arlo, Nest and Ezviz. I decided Ezviz was the best route to go. Granted they might not be as big or well known to the general public. But their website and independent reviews websites all seemed like this was the perfect fit for me. I had to order through Best Buys website because NO WHERE within 250 miles from my home address sold or even had heard of Ezviz. So going on faith and the fact that your support tag line is "we value your business". I decided to pull the trigger and spend my start up cost of $254.63 on home security cameras through Ezviz. I placed the order through Best Buy because at that time they were the only company to carry Ezviz on August 2, 2017 and the next day the cameras were shipped out. I get them, they are great, well built and install the app no problems. Everything works and runs the way it's meant to. I thought I was in heaven after finding Ezviz cameras!
Fast forward 1 year and 3 months past my order date and the outdoor Ezviz Husky camera just stops working. No rhyme or reason as to why it does. Reconnect the power, rest the camera, even delete it from my wifi network and nothing worked. So I figured okay lets reach out to customer support, perhaps they will help. Boy was I mislead! In my original email sent through the Ezviz website sent on Oct. 10. I stated (thinking 2 year warranty) I had a outdoor camera that wasn't working and was wanting to know what Ezviz could do to help me with securing a replacement. In that very first email I attached the order receipt from Best Buy with the order dates, total and how many cameras I bought. A customer service rep by the name of Joel replied back on Oct. 12(Friday btw) saying "Please kindly send us the following information to process your Return Merchandise Authorization". I thought awesome, finally a company that cares about not only about their product but the customer as well. So jumping through hoops of taking pictures, finding boxes and resubmitting the order form again. All done within the 48 hour time frame, I sent the email with all that on Oct. 13 at 11:17 a.m. Thought great they'll get it send me a replacement camera and I'll continue to love my Ezviz cameras and feel once again safe knowing my Husky camera will be watching over my property.
Skip to Oct. 15 Joel told me never mind didn't look at your order receipt (at all apparently) in your original email, it's actually out of warranty, best of luck nothing else we can do. So I replied upset of course because I was lead to believe that 1: either it was still under warranty and Ezviz was going to replace the camera or 2: that even if it was ONLY 3 months past warranty they were going to send me new camera regardless. Well in my response I asked to be called to discuss this gross over sight and miss leading email exchange with Joel. Joel calls, I didn't answer as it comes up 909 unknown caller. Joel leaves a voicemail stating I'm calling you because you wanted me to. I return the call and speak to a different gentleman and he goes over my order receipt and states yes we can't do anything it's "WAY PAST WARRANTY". 3 months must be measured differently for him than most people. So I ask to be transferred higher up which apparently is none other than Joel. I thought great this guy will know his mistake in leading me into thinking I was under warranty and will help me. Boy was I wrong! After giving me a by the book response that there's nothing he can do its not his call RMA services will deny it, but he'd try anyways but really they will deny it. So I asked okay you can't do anything for me? No discounts, no free shipping nothing? Nope sir sorry you'll have to go buy another camera. So I said from where because I've been on Best Buys website and the camera isn't sold online anymore nor is it sold in stores. He said well you can try Home Depot, again not sold in stores or online. I could buy the newer fancy more expensive cameras(online not in stores) but not the one that I originally had. After him and I each going through both websites he says well they are only $79 on our website. I said yes but I paid $98.43 and you are telling me that you wont replace it for free or give me any discount to get a replacement or eat the cost of a new one to keep a loyal customer knowing full well I can't get it anywhere else locally?! To which he replied NOPE. So I said who do I need to speak to in the RMA department or customer relations to get some sort of assistance. He stated that I can't talk to anyone above him but I can email [email protected] and complain to them.
So I asked for a last name, he refused but said if you reference the case number 83789 corporate can look into the matter and handle it from here. So I said okay and do you have some kind of RMA receipt for when you submit the request to them, to which he chuckled and said I'm no longer going to do that for you sir, have a good day. Thus leading me to now contacting you Corporate(I hope) wanting some kind of assistance to getting a no longer sold online threw a third party Ezviz Husky 1080p Outdoor Camera replaced or discounted or something after being mislead to thinking I was being taken care of as a customer and getting a new one.
I have included the email chain along with screenshots of both Best Buy and Home Depots(doesn't sell Husky camera) websites showing the camera isn't sold online anymore nor can I get one in stores. Please do right by your customer and proud owner of 3 of your cameras who is a firm believer in customer loyalty and help replace my wonderful camera. I don't want to jump ship but if after this experience, I just might have to do so.

That camera doesn’t work except if it’s very near to the WiFi other than that it won’t work even if you used a WiFi extender so if you intend to use it as an outdoor camera you have to use a cable.

I received a free sample of the Ezviz Husky Outdoor Camera to provide an honest review. I like this camera, setup was very easy with using the app on my smartphone. They have a QR code on the device that you scan to make setup a breeze. The image quality is excellent and provides a pretty wide view angle with good night vision, the quality can be set within the app. I like the memory card feature for on board recording. There is also the option to subscribe to cloud recording which secures your recordings off site in case of fire or theft. The cost seems very reasonable and is much cheaper than most home security systems. Mounting is super simple with provided template. I have this set up in my Garage, i live in Chicago so it gets cold. I wanted something that could withstand the cold temperatures. The power can be run via the included AC adapter or via an Ethernet cord using a Power over Ethernet switch. For residential application, a PoE injector will allow you to run Ethernet to the mounting site to a suitable place where it can be powered safely without the need for an expensive switch. Additional cameras from Ezviz can be added to the app to build the home monitoring system you need.
It is very hard to find something that will withstand the harsh winters, but this worked out great for the garage. It is rated to -22F which will work outdoors for most just fine. Its also waterproof.
I do own another brand of Home monitoring cameras, and these hold up very well. They are great as a baby or pet monitor, but the motion alerts and cloud recording make them great for home security too. I would recommend this camera which provides excellent value for money, great for home security/monitoring on a budget.

The camera is very sturdy and well-constructed. The instructions to set it up were very easy to follow and I had the camera up and running in under two minutes (this was my third EZVIZ camera, so I already had the app installed).
When the camera is turned on, the picture is very high quality and the infrared image looks great at night as well. The motion detection is great and the alarm it raises on the app is helpful. Beware as this push notification could get annoying if the camera is pointed at the street and senses cars passing. Overall, I highly recommend this equipment.
The app is a little more confusing and the interface could stand to be streamlined. Also, the app and the website seem to have totally different functionality. You can get done what you want to get done, but you may have to access the app and the website separately to make it happen. As an example, I encrypted the feed from one of my security cameras via the app, then tried to share the feed with my wife's app (which apparently you can only do from the website). Once I went on the website and shared the feed, she couldn't see it due to the encryption so I had to go back to the app and remove the encryption. So the functionality is there, but it's not consolidated or streamlined.
Overall, I recommend this system highly. It's great for the price, and if you don't mind a little extra time working through the app and website, it has great functionality.

Packaging and Setup: I participated in a market research study and received this product to evaluate. The packaging is minimal which is nice and the startup instruction book is right on top. It took me only about 5-10 minutes to connect the camera to where I could see the picture. All you have to do is download the EZVIZ app, I used the Android version, follow the few instructions and you’ll be connected within minutes. Super easy! It comes with a mounting template for when you go outside to install, which was also really helpful. This camera is weather resistant, and can be setup through wifi or through a ethernet cord. It does have to be plugged into a power supply though. Make sure you install the camera where a person cannot reach it and unplug it.
Camera: The camera itself is larger than their indoor cameras, but not so huge that it’s a big deal. The picture is really clear! 1080p HD looks great on my phone, day and night. You can pay for cloud storage or use a memory card. The camera will alert you when it senses movement and save it to the memory card, or you can live stream directly from the app. The great thing about these cameras too is that you can add more than one to the app and then view them all at the same time. So in case you need to have more than one camera on your property, this is handy.
Overall: I have used the camera for about a week now and I’m impressed. I’ve never had an outdoor security camera, but with the recent break-in’s and package stealing in my area, its nice to be able to know whats going on outside my house when I’m home or away. The connection has been solid, no problems thus far and the app is easy to navigate. My only gripe is that I would love the option to be able to reposition the camera angle from the app, but since it is a wide angle lens it does cover a lot of ground. I had never heard of this brand, but it has definitely been reliable and performed well.

I participated in a market research study and received an Outdoor Camera: Husky 16GB to evaluate.
Setup: The Husky was fairly easy to setup. It came with very clear instructions on how to set the camera up and connect it to the internet. It came with all the parts needed to mount the camera, including a template of where to drill the holes. Comes with a nice long cord. The app downloaded quickly and easily to my phone. It was very simple to connect the camera to the app via my phone.
Product: It has a very clear picture and a fairly large visual field. Really gave good clear detailed images. Great night vision and motion detection. That way it was not taking up storage space on the SD card. Comes with a 16GB SD card. I liked that I could record video or take pictures, in real time from the app, and that I could review the camera. I could scroll back through and watch it in the past. It has a sturdy housing so is well suited for the weather outdoors. I liked that I could connect it wirelessly or I could use a wired internet connection. You will need to be able to plug the camera into an outlet.
I would definitely recommend this Outdoor video camera. Great camera to have at your front or back door.

This is a great camera for the money! (I own 2 of them) Solid construction, easy setup, stays connected to WiFi, good field of view, excellent night vision, a good app with many options for flexibility, and an included SD card, which means you don't have to pay a monthly fee unless you want to. When motion is detected the camera captures 10-15 seconds before the event occurs and keeps recording for 15 - 20 seconds after the motion ceases. Alert notification to you is quick with very little lag time and the app opens and connects to the cameras very quickly. One item you need to be aware of is that this is a true security camera and any motion will create an alert. Leaves blowing in the wind and moving shadows will set if off even at its lowest setting. Consequently, you need to think about camera placement to minimize false alerts.

I received the Husky 16GB camera as a free sample for review. I found the camera very `husky` as it would relate to how rugged and durable the device is. It`s sturdy construction allows it to be used both indoors and outdoors without much worry about it`s durability.
It was easy to install using the quick setup guide included in the packaging. Simple steps to follow including easy plug-in and scanning the code onto my iphone using the EZVIZ app. Once registered on my I-phone I could see immediately a live stream of the images.
I tested the device for 2 days in sub-freezing temperatures outside of my home. The camera did not fail nor did the mount or casing. Also, I tested the camera through-out the night in almost no-light conditions and found that it was of superior quality in adjusting it`s gain to create a real-time type image. There was not reduction of image quality to either extreme low temperatures or low-light conditions. It seemed to send a `real` type display.
I particularly enjoyed having this device registered on the EZVIZ app on my I-phone where I could view the device image anywhere and also use the mulit-device feature in the app where I could see multiple EZVIZ devices on one screen simultaneously.
The power cord is not practical for hard-wiring for a home...so you will need to use a normal outlet which could be a disadvantage for outdoor use--which is likely what this product is designed for or at least capable of.

I received the EZVIZ Husky 16GB camera for free in exchange for an honest review. This camera is meant for indoor or outdoor monitoring. I’m in the process of renovating, so I was not able to mount this outside of my home. I did put it in a different room of the house to monitor my dog who sleeps in a different room at night.
The setup was very easy. Once I had the app installed on my iPhone, I followed the directions in the Quick Start Guide. The Camera connected to my network pretty quickly, and I was able to monitor the video by going into the app. I played around with some of the settings. One of them was the motion sensor. I was alerted by the app every time my dog moved/triggered the camera. I was then able to go into the video feed and see what she was doing.
The camera is in color, and you can set one of three levels of video quality. I had mine set to basic and the picture was actually very good. You have the ability to record and take snapshots of the live feed. At night, the camera has night vision which also produces good video quality.
There are numerous ways to setup the different settings for recording. It can be set by schedule or movement. The movement has a sensitivity. The video can be captured on the included 16GB micro SD card (expandable to 128GB), on your phone, or in the EZVIZ Cloud.
One of the best features of the app is that you can have many cameras loaded into one app for each monitoring of them. They also don’t have to be the same camera model. So, you can have peace of mind that you can video monitor your home effectively.
Once we are done with our renovations, I plan on purchasing more of these cameras to setup around the perimeter of the house. We live in more rural area, and I’d like to see what’s outside before sending my dogs outside or know what might be out there before I venture out with my baby. These cameras are great especially at the price point.

The Husky 16GB outdoor camera is great! This is a beefy camera that has solid features that you’d expect from an outdoor camera. I’ve had the MINI Plus for about a month, as it was given to me as a free sample to review.
Pros:
Easy setup. Took less than 5 minutes to connect to the app.
When looking back at previous days – the app has a neat feature that shows you when there was activity. It detects movement and you can hop between moments easily.
Clear, clean picture. This camera had some good distance on it, which let me see from my front door to the street.
Cons:
The app itself promotes their online storage ad nauseam with a constant obnoxious banner. The online feature for storage seems great, but if you’re not willing to purchase it—the app will do everything in its power to try to convince you otherwise.
The camera is for outdoors – so you need to be able to get a power source to it. The cord, which is similar to a phone charging cord, was only so long. Be prepared to have some work with installing the camera in an area that you can get the cord to a power outlet (and not exposed for the outside world to simply disconnect).
