If you played FEAR 1 youll notice its inferior in story line and gameplay. The gore factor has definitely notched up. But thats not to say this isnt fun. There just really isnt anything that sticks out about this game. Its FUN dont get me wrong, but nothing spectacular. Theres a few moments where youll jump back in your seat. Theres really only a couple guns that are helpful, the rest dont really help you out that much (shotgun, handgun, just to name a couple, so keep that machine gun ammo full). Graphics are great as well, which is think is definitely better than the first. If you enjoyed the first FEAR, youll most likely enjoy this, you will not be disappointed.

This game leaves right where you were you left off from the last game.and just like last time if you're overwhelmed by enemies you can slo-mo the action down to get a focus on you targets.But this time in this game you also have a mech suit you can operate to help you clear some enemies out your way.But if you get this game it just won't be because of the online multiplayer (Left 4 Dead) or even it's story, but it will be for the sights,sounds,fun,action packed thrills.

I was hoping that F.E.A.R. 2 would shed some light on more answers to Alma and everything else, but like the Ring movies, you're left with more answers. Aside from your teammates uttering tidbits here and there to build somewhat of a storyline, your left to walk through hallways, corridors, rooms..... pretty much a modern day dungeons game. The shooting mechanics are very similar to Call of Duty, and every now and then, you'll get a surprise scare, but it's lacking the true spookiness and chill that F.E.A.R. 1 had. You would think that a game named "FEAR" would make this game quite filled with.... fear. It doesn't even come close to the Condemned, Silent HIll or Resident Evil series in regards to scares and fear. It's a decent shooter, but I was quite disappointed hoping that a little more of that magic from F.E.A.R. 1 would rub off on this game. Unfortunately, this sequel game doesn't match up to the first game.

it gets spooky at times try it in a dark room! controls are pretty good this is my first time playing fear i wasnt to sure about it ,but gave it a try. i like the mix of supernatural or poltergiest with youre basic shoot em up games its diffrent got my attention fun game. BEWARE IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A LITTLE ONLINE PLAY VERY BAD!

I loved the demo of this game. It is 100 times better than the first. The controls are Halo like and the graphics are mint. A must buy!

If you liked the first F.E.A.R. then pick this up, you will enjoy it. I had FEAR on the PC. The slow mo sections were fun but not as much fun as the first one. MP was ok but nothing to write home about.

I like horror games so I tried this one. I had not played the first one but I heard it was good. This game is good overall but nothing fantastic. Some of the graphics are really good (cut scenes and the generally creepy stuff) but most of it is just okay. It's like most other horror games that get super repetitive. It's worth playing when the price drops or it's on sale. Don't buy it for the online X Box Live gaming. That's got to be the worst online gaming experience I've ever had. Play Bio shock or Call of Duty.

This game is amazing and will scare your pants off. The story line is good and the levels are very detailed. The weapons rock on this game and will keep you entertained for a while. If you are a fan of fear you will love this sequel. The online play is pretty good too. You will be satisfied with this purchase.

Its a really good game, the graphics could have been better but they are not bad at all. It is creepy at times and provides a really good thrill. Multilayer aint bad but could defiantly be better. It doesn't really feel like the first but is still a really good game and if your looking for a action packed hiller game with creepy moments, get this game.

when this game first hit the streets,it was a bench mark for a shooter that mixed supernatural suspense/heavy combat. i loved it, even the expansion pack was great.fear 2 is not as good. along wait and dashed hopes. i just hope the riddick game wont dissapoint.

Okay, I was really pumped up for this installment into the FEAR franchise. The graphics wern't much better than the first FEAR, the guns were okay but it just didn't feel like a FEAR game. It wasn't as creepy as the first. The really only creepy parts were the obominations crawling evrywhere on the walls but that is it! Plus, the enemies were way too easy to kill: I thought the AI was supposed to be very smart. It wasn't. Alma didn't scare me this time. When she jumped out I guess was supposed to scare me but instead it made me laugh! Monolith did a terrible job on this production. They could have spent more time making then I might be writing a good review right now.

if you dont like horror movies then dont get this game, its not for the weak. this game scared the heck out of me in the first level. and i definitly had nightmares that night about that little girl alma coming to get me >.<

I think that this game is really fun to play and it gets kind of creepy at some parts. The graphics could be a little better but overall this is a great game.
