Need more games in this style
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like retro games and horror, you can't go wrong with this game. It is a game with three chapters, each with multiple endings depending on actions you take within the game, and each ending unlock extra features. It looks like a game that could've been in an original Intellivision console with the voice synthesizer and similar graphics, with a single button that holds up your cross to excise the demons haunting various places. It has a lot of features that can be unlocked and has a decent story to boot. This is a great game that doesn't seem to get getting enough attention. I recommend it. Honestly, there aren't enough retro styled games that capture the look of consoles like the INTV or Coleco, but I hope this game inspires others to make such games.

Not for everyone
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game not for everyone. I will break the review into positives and negatives for those that want more info on why I chose this rating. Positives: Great packaging, art, extras! The look of the game, music, mood and suspect story all top notch. I say suspect story as the game play was not for me and I stopped playing which leads into negatives. Negatives: Game play is really the only negative for me. When you are exorcising demons you dodge and hold up a cross. I could not seem to get the hang of getting out of the way and lost interest pretty quickly. I am going to watch someone else do a play through because I am interested in the story and seeing the rest of the cool art. If the game was 10 - 15 dollars I would say buy but at 40 after tax not worth it for me.

Pixels CAN be scary.

And he created arguably one of the greatest horror games of the decade. With its low-fidelity, Atari-inspired graphics be prepared for the nightmare of your life! Also, the cartridge comes with art, newspaper clippings, stickers, etc!
