Greatest Sci-Fi show ever. Loved the whole show all together.

Don't let my Title confuse you it wasn't a bad ending I'm just sorry that it all ended. In This season everything comes to an end all of the stories are wrapped up some new characters come in to play, and we finally find out who is the victor, man kind or the aliens? If you followed the story from the beginning you'll be overwhelmed about where your favorite characters ended up, some took the predictable route and others went completely off the rails. Overall I felt that there weren't any unanswered questions and felt closure to series ending

Think of all the series that were abruptly cancelled (e.g., Firefly, V, Planet of the Apes) --- then --- think of series endings that left you shrieking (Lost, Seinfeld, Sopranos). Comes now Falling Skies with a well-conceived finale --- so --- for all you linear series fans --- start from the square one and continue through the final scene of the final episode of the final year. You won't be disappointed --- unlike how I feel after having my original thoughts censored by Best Buy.

This series was like no other from story to characters to visuals. What made this scifi series special was the importance of family and friends and determination and a sense of history repeating itself. This theme carried through to the end with both the humans AND some the aliens who they came to know. Even with understandable losses the human race kept going and came through to rebuild again. One of my favorite Spielberg backed series.

Falling Skies has always been a favorite tv show for me. A Steven Spielberg production, the show has always featured top notch special effects and quality acting. This season, however did include a little too much over-acting but that is a minor point. It's nice to have a show actually wrap up with an actual ending that isn't a dream or so metaphysical people will be debating it forever. A quality show well worth the time it takes to watch all 5 seasons.

Falling Skies is one of those shows that if you haven't seen it in a while, you start thinking about it and miss it. At first viewing, it's a fun alien invasion story. Then the determination and strength of these characters gets under your skin. Even the bad guy, Pope, is admirable in his strength and brings the much needed conflict and variety to a band of righteous warriors. I'm proud of these guys for completing this story in five seasons.

Falling Skies is a fantastic science fiction TV series detailing the race and battle for survival amongst remaining civilians on earth against an invasion by aliens, during which the human race forms an alliance with a second alien species also intent on battling the alien invaders. All in all, a terrific series full of suspense and action. Highly recommend!

I was a little sorry to watch the last one of that nice television show. I have been watching years after years and always wondering about the next step. Having a full season on Blu-ray is a lot easier to watch than trying to catch the show on television. So with this Blu-ray I watched episode after episode in a very short period of time.

Good Solid Sci-Fi. As most know Sci-Fi is about the human response to adversity and to often deal with subjects that would be bothersome if set in real life. This show explores many of these themes including the value of human life, betrayal, and our own insecurities in the universe. Good show that is very entertaining.

Season 5 is the series finale that made me feel like I was on a roller coaster. Sometimes I wanted it to end and then sometimes I wanted it to continue. I stayed faithful until the end and it didn't disappoint. Good way to wrap it up with the final 10 episodes. Nice little farewell featurette was pretty cool as well.

Love the show, but I was a little like Pope . . . How many times could Mason get away with not dying. I like that it was more realistic - aliens would definitely have upper hand with their tech and most of us would be wiped out. another series that I should have gotten all in BluRay.

This last season was really full of twists and turns. They did a great job of trying to tie all things up and go is it right. The ending was as well to be expected with a quick ending. The acting is well done for such a series. It truly shows humanity trying to come together.

I was very pleased with the concluding season of this series with one exception. I really thought that there should have been one more episode to this season; felt that the final defeat of the aliens was overly simplistic. Overall though this was a very interesting series.

For this DVD set it had Good Visuals and very good Sound. Dolby Digital 5.1 so crank it up! Not too bad for a DVD set. The split for 3 DVD's was a great move to get the best possible picture. The best season for sure!

I have purchased all seasons prior to this one. Some have been given to me for a gift. I think that I first saw it at best buy and thought it looked like it would be a good series to watch. Hadn't seen it on TV, so I knew nothing about. Glad that Best Buy carried it.

This and Game of Thrones are the only series that I have ever been able to actually sit and binge watch. Great, smart sci-fi-fi series with the right amount of action and aliens. Pretty good special effects for a tv series and a good story line.

This final season to this neat show is short and sweet. The whole series is something that takes place after an alien invasion. No movie, just the after. It helps one tap into their imagination to think about what the invasion could've been like.

If you're a Si-Fi fan this was a pretty good little show. Was surprised by the fairly high production value. Well done Aliens/ special effects etc. Was produced by Steven Spielberg. Good news is if you haven't seen it you can marathon all five seasons now.

I have 2 more episodes to watch. I can't wait to see how it ends. The show is great fun with good characters. The acting is top notch and the scenery/effects can rival many movies. The situations in each episode keep the viewer watching and interested.
