Over all a great game! Not for younger kids, but lots of fun and it will pull you in so bad you'll only be mad when you done playing...in about 6 weeks from now. Great buy for the price.

I've never really been a role-playing game type of guy. I found myself mixed with this game. It just brought me back to that place again of not likely the game. I looking to make my moves, kills or whatever without waiting. There are ups and downs with FO3. For the most part alot of downs. Not quick enough for my pace. The look of the game is awesome to take a world post rapture and give it these kiind of visuals is great. As far as gameplay, a straight up flat line. Save your money and rent it. Please don't buy it.

The game mode of this is great. Very interactive game.

This game looked promising when i started but once i got out to the wasteland it got boring. with the depressing scenery this game just depresses me. If you do somthing wrong in a city everyone in the town starts attacking you and I usaly die before i can get out of the city. You can shoot a average human in the head 3 times from point blank he still is alive.

If you're evil without discrimination, and blow up megaton before speaking to anyone first, there's nothing to tell you what to do next and you will end up wandering the wastes for 40 odd hours. Eventually you will give up and just look on the internet for the next location in the story. Do NOT buy this game if you relish decapitating someone with a flaming knife.

I have played every version of the fallout series from inception. When I found out that a Fallout 3 was being made I was like a kid waiting for xmas day to open his new toy. I picked up my PS3 copy on launch day with visions of the trailers and longing to hear the words "War....." in that gravely voice. I get home and play for about an hour....Then wham! out of nowhere the graphics go crazy. Lines everywhere screen goes black. I can not see as a super mutant is beating my head in with a nail board! I scream in horror....."NOOOOOOOOOO" This game is totally unplayable. No saving restarting, jumping up and down will help. It goes right back to being bugged. The longest I can play for is maybe 5 minutes.... This is a total outrage. The game makers website is full of enraged people. I can not in good conscious recommend anyone to buy this game. I even bought the PC version and it lasted about 20 minutes before the black screen of death! Even with the patch! DO NOT BUY! On any platform untill it is totally fixed!

Its a good game overall, but 30 mins into the game I realized that FPS is not my cup of tea.

After reading the rave reviews about Fallout 3, I thought the game would be much better than it was. I can honestly say that I played the game for three hours and just couldn't get into it. The story line was rather boring and there wasn't much action to keep me interested.

First the game is very boring. It has no background music and style of gameplay is outdated, in my opinion. Seems first-person game of the past decade. Worse is having to restart the game when the character gets stuck on the walls without having to break free. This bug annoys a lot and is repeated for all time!

Seriously, i rented this game i was very dissapointed. this game is awful. the slightest thing that you do, they shoot at you. i hate it.
