If it wasn't for this game being at a discount when I got it, I would've been very upset. The core gameplay is good, however the game is littered with so many bugs and glitches it's crazy. Bethesda really needs to get their stuff together!

Bought as gifts at Xmas time so I got em a great price of $30 each! That’s was prob best thing...my youngest doesn’t play his, he prefers the older Fallout 4(I think) -he’s into RPGs and strategic war games Mount n Blade, LOTRs, Mordor Shadow more than shooter games, n my oldest rather play other shooter games like Call of Duty ones than this...I know this isn’t much help on what game is like as the both just say “It’s alright”, so I’d say if you are a big fan of the Fallout series/line then get it at a lower price, don’t pay $60 for it. If you just want to try it to see what it’s like, I’d recommend borrowing one or something along the line it won’t cost you. Otherwise you might be flushing $60 down the drain. Even knowing now that they barely play it, I would still buy it at $30 so I hope that helps!

The game is fun to play with friends, but can be glitchy at the worse times.

Close to prefect, great graphics wish it had more enemies and a deeper story.

Glitches are all over, no other "human " contact (as of yet). Near impossible situations. With that said, it's still a Fallout game so there's still fun in it.

I am reviewing this with post release updates in mind. The game is getting better. It was a rocky start but the updates are helping. There needs to be more content added however, which is in the works. It is very fun playing co op, there is also a new PvP mode as well. As long as it’s supported it may yet stay afloat. I jump on every few weeks off and on.

Great graphics, sound, action. Nice change from Minecraft and Fortnite.

Purchased this game on sale Black Friday 2019. I avoided it because of all the negative hype when this game first came out. I bought it on sale for Black Friday and just been having a blast & keep coming back. 4 stars unfortunately because some of the complaints are valid, but overall, I really enjoy playing 76 and will continue to do so.

Like other Fallout games, it takes a long time to get to a level where it's consistently fun and the cooler level locked items are available. I would recommend to friends who would play on the same platform. If you're just buying be prepared for at least one massive multiple hours long update before you can play the game (mine was at least 5 hours).

Buggy, a mess but fun at times. It's fallout without the NPCs. Not enough going on to justify anyone to purchase unless they just love the IP. Kinda regretting it, would wait until they get it out of b.e.t.a. ...

This game seems to get a lot of hate, but I have a lot of fun with it. I generally love the Fallout franchise, and like many others I do think it peaked with New Vegas, but this game still feels like it takes place in the same universe. Not as crisp and not as novel, but still loads of fun.

It’s not bad like the haters say. If you have patience to get thru the updates and releases it really is a good game and fun to play. I still play after a year and a half later and the updates still keep things going. I don’t play as much as I used to but I tune in for the updates and catch up on FO76.

Fallout 76 is a replacement for Fallout 3. I messed up and bought the wrong one. My 13 yr old grandson loves this one. He says the graphics and action are more advanced then Fallout 3. I have to take his word for it since I am video game impaired. He highly recommends.

This so far has been fun because it is different enough from the others to add things to the franchise and for it to try things. Some things like allowing weapons to break are ok to introduce, but other things maybe don't work as well with this franchise. I'm still happy with buying it but am looking forward to seeing how it evolves.

I’ve played nearly all the quests at this point, and while it isn’t like a traditional Bethesda entry into their franchises it does hold a lot of opportunity. If you are an individual that enjoys exploration, and can avoid the online toxic discussions and spoilers, there is a lot of fun to be had. Technically speaking, at release the game was in a poor state and arguably has gotten worse as they try to patch some bugs while making others worse. Disconnects and crashes are common and unavoidable. There are plenty of reasons to get frustrated, although it speaks volume that there is still a motivation to keep playing and see what is behind every corner.

Do some research and watch some videos. This is not a typical fallout game. So if you are expecting a typical fallout game, you will be disappointed, but if you take this game for what it is, it can be a lot of fun. Watch videos and read reviews to decide if the game is for you before purchasing it.
