One of the the episodes didn't work, and due to return politics I couldn't return them.

I grew up on Family Matters. It is one of the most iconic and best TV shows ever. This will definitely bring back childhood memories and good old fashioned TV comedy not like today.

My son thinks that Steve Urkel is hilarious. He doesn't want to be like him when he grows up.

I was so happy to see this show released on DVD. I bought it for my brother for his birthday present and he was very excited to get it.

From my perspective, this series originally started out as family-oriented, but the moment it introduced the Urkel character I lost all respect for this series. I personally find the Urkel character to be highly offensive and to be a representation of an insulting and hurtful stereotype of a young person. Given all the problems of bullying going on in our schools, to take what I feel is an insulting and hurtful stereotype and present this to impressionable young children as part of the TGIF children's program lineup in the 1990s, to this day it makes me wonder how any caring person could think that is appropriate?
