We are huge Harry Potter fans! And we still have an awesome 3D HD TV in our living room so we were very excited to watch this movie in 3D!

Another J.K Rowling book turned into a excellent movie. The 4k picture is out of this world. The price was decent compared to any other store.

A decent entry in the Harry Potter Universe. I ultimately believe the heart of this series will be about more than the Fantastic Beasts and Newt that the title leads to believe, which is why this is knocked down a star.

I am a huge HP fan, so I couldn't pass up getting this DVD. I normally don't purchase from Best Buy, but it ran the same price as other places

Saw this movie in the theater and couldn't wait for it to come out on Blue Ray. Highly recommend it, especially if you are a Harry Potter fan.

The animation in this make choosing 4k for extra crispness and clarity an easy choice. The movie is solid, and I can't wait for the next.

Very enjoyable. JKR has combined 2 love stories with all the wizardry and wonderful animal creations we have come to expect in her books.

While this might not be Harry Potter, it is certainly in the same universe and equally as enjoyable, but in different ways. Highly recommend.

The film feels very familiar to fans of the Harry Potter films. Eddie Redmayne's character is a bit too subdued though he plays the part convincingly well. All in all a must have have for your bluray or 4k HD collection.

This is such a great prequel/continuation of the Harry Potter world. Any fan of the original HP movies is virtually guaranteed to love this.

I was looking forward to watch this movie at home since I missed it in the theaters, but I was a bit disappointed it was not as fantastic as I hoped it would be. The beasts also fell out of place and not integral to the story, with none being memorable. The two leads were also not interesting, with the supporting cast being better. Eddie Redmayne who gave a brilliant performance as Stephen Hawking, his performance here was average and the character itself is lackluster for a lead in a film from an author who gave us Harry Potter. Still, there were fun sequences in the movie, hopefully the sequel will be better.

Great movie for those that like the world of Harry Potter. Gives a nice insight to how some of the Harry Potter we know and love came about.

Please understand this review is coming from a huge Harry Potter fan so for me go 3 stars is something tangible. The movie contains a strong story with immense action. My only problem with the movie is that it didn't develop the background stories with the characters as much as I'd like. You get the fast paced wand battles that was lacking in some of the HP movies but you loose the immersive storytelling and character development that grabbed us in every HP movie. Overall good movie with tons of action that will keep you entertained. Just wish the story was a little more developed, movie may have been rushed.

To bring in wizardry before Harry Potter is quite interesting,, the fantastic magical beasts were quite interesting,, a very well done movie.
