If you have been following this series then you know what you’re in for, a grand exciting spectacle. The performances are great especially those of Depp and Law. It will be interesting to see the evolution of this story and these characters. I think the negativity that gets attached to this film is because it’s one piece of a larger story, an early piece at that so there’s no way to tell where it’s going. That’s what makes it fun.

This is a Magical exciting movie. Love all of the creatures in it,. And I always love Johnny Depp's characters in movies, he does a FANTASTIC job in this one and it’s no surprise. Another favorite is the character Queenie. She is wonderful. I’m sure I will be watching it over and over as with all the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies. LOVE them ALL,

We saw this one in the theater, and left the theater feeling less happy. The first one left off on a positive note and a feeling of hope for the world...this one, not so much. Still a decent movie, but less "fluff" in the middle to make it a feel-good movie. Had quite a few areas that felt very slow, so the younger kids won't be a good audience for this movie. We are still glad to have added it to our collection, though.

This beautiful, exciting film has something for everyone. It's a sequel as good as it's predecessor, and filled with magic, creatures of fascination and a message that good always conquers evil. Harry Potter held wonders to adore. Fantastic Beasts continues to be a rapturous tale of magic and great wonder for the movie-goer, child or adult.

This movie lies somewhere between great and terrible. Mostly it depends on how big a fan you are of the Harry Potter Universe. I would say that it is a decent movie, but not as good as the first. This one looses some of the chemistry between the characters, and at times is hard to follow. My recommendation, buy it while it's on sale, that way you don't feel too bad about spending the money.

Harry Potter is a classic series and beloved by many, so there were a lot of fans excited to see what would become of this prequel/spin off. The first movie was on the mediocre side, with some hamfisted overacting from much of the cast. Thankfully they learned a bit from that for this sequel which while again darker in tone and setting still manages to be an improvement without becoming devoid of charm

All Harry Potter fans will LOVE this movie!! It is action packed and full of exciting twists and turns! I highly recommend reading the screenplay before watching the movie...it helps fill in all info about the new characters and their backgrounds. The Best Buy Steelbook has a super cool cover and is perfect for the collector. I love it!!

I find the Fantastic Beast movies not as entertaining as the Harry Potter series, which allow the viewer to experience magic through the eyes of children while growing up. But on its own merit, Crimes of Grindelwald is a very good movie. The acting is good and the special effects are great, at least when seen in 3D. In my opinion, 3D is the only way to watch a movie that was released theatrically in 3D.

great action has a good story line you don't have to see the first one but it will help just to know the charters and how they work together with the new one they added. I sad with the grand kid and we had a ball to gether - ------ you will view it more that one just to get all the action in the movie over all loved it

As a Potter fan, it has been easy to get into this series. Just like the HP movies, you have to watch each movie more than once to catch all the embedded clues and connections. The events and characters in this movie that will affect the HP movies were very interesting. Depp made a great hero or villain, depending on your outlook.

The movie is a little slow in parts, but it was entertaining overall and a good addition to the Fantastic Beasts/Harry Potter Series. No complaints about the DVD quality. Everything loaded and played as it was supposed to. The Best Buy store price was better than several other local stores and within a dollar of the lowest local store price that I've seen. So, the price was competitive overall.

Okay so when I saw this in theaters I had mixed feelings. I loved the vast majority of the movie although I think they could have casted better for Grindelwald and I wasn't sure how I felt about the twist ending. Regardless the story is otherwise fantastic I love the character growth and I look forward to the next installment.

For those who can't get enough of the Harry Potter Universe. Not so many "fantastic beasts" in this one, but we have Johnny Depp as Grindelwald and Jude Law as the young Prof. Dumbledore (a wise choice). The plot thickens and some threads left dangling - obviously this is part of a much larger unfolding story. Enjoy the ride!

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald further expands the Harry Potter wizarding universe. It’s an enjoyable film but hopefully the best is yet to come from the remaining movies in the series. The film looks stunning in 4K and the HDR really shines in dark scenes. The sound is also great. The Special features included in this steelbook add extra hours of depth for fans of the series.

This movie takes off after the first one. Where the first one had to introduce all the characters, forcing it to stay slow. This one was a fun, exciting, fast pace thrill ride. This sequel is up there with some of the greats. If you didn’t love the first one you should try this one anyway. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Many sections of movie felt added on to fill time. Kelp dragon? Newt is tasked with an almost impossible challenge and at the same time seems to never believe he has any skills to begin with. Why does Dumbledore (who's being played excellently by Jude Law) send him? Oh. There's no one else I guess. Definitely a transitional movie for the next film. (noticed date, it's not 4/1 joke review)

A lot of people may disagree, but I think that "Crimes of Grindelwald" is a fantastic film. You have to accept that it is setting up for future films. Acting is superb as is direction. Beautifully filmed and fully using 4K resolution! Plus, access to the extended cut is a lovely extra. Definitely recommend this disc!

Not as amazing as the first movie, but still worthwhile for casual and diehard Harry Potter fans. If you miss all the magic of Harry's world, this is still a good film to add to you collection. It misses some of the wonder and awe of the first film, but it does move the plot forward.

If you liked Fantastic Beasts and where to Find Them, you will enjoy this movie. This movie is more about character development in the Harry Potter Universe. This movie is a pleasure to watch in the 4K UHD, the inclusion of the digital copy and blue ray make it a great deal as you can enjoy it on any device.

If you liked the first film you’ll like this movie. According to IMDB this was filmed in 6.5K and finished at a 4K digital intermediate. The picture is flawless and the 3D image is amazing. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack also puts the viewer right in the center of the action. A must see for Fantastic Beasts fans!
