I saw this movie a few times years ago, and I wanted my daughter to see it, so it was time to get it on DVE, and it did not disappoint. It's timelss.

Was very happy to find this at bestbuy I've always had a soft spot for this movie

Ron Howard's action-packed Far & Away stars the Young Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, earlier in tgheir careers, yet, let their ages tarnish any brilliance in their acting and performances, whic h are nonetheless strong and professional, as are both these screen celebrities. There is much to admire in Ron Howard's visioinary concept of the story, it's passion and sense of emotional Irish history regarding the plight of the ppor farmers and the way theyt were always so miserably treated by the wealthy landowners. The main character's hope and drive to own land of his own, and the daughter of a wealthy landowner who struggles with him and her own struggle to free herself from her famnily's dominance, are portrayed with heart, emotion and passion by Cruise and Kidman. The strpry is non-stop action and is a joyous ride to a great finale.

My husband told me about this must see awesome movie, i had to get it and super excited i found it on blue-ray!

Received the movie with 2 days shipping, but the case was cracked, returned it to the store for a full refund since they didn't have this movie in the store stock. Excellent customer service, will buy online again.

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman did a wonderful job acting in this movie. Fun to watch and cinema photography is great. The real back grounds make wish CGI was not used to replace beauty natural landscape.

audio and video surpasses the DVD version.The theme of this movie represents a vital role of imigrants while taking Indian land.

Entertaining movie depicting the desire to own land and the extremes people will go to achieve their goal.

Not a perfect transfer, but still nice looking blu-ray. Great story and little known gem that is sure to please.

Far and Away on Blu-Ray is pretty nice. I like it when Tom Cruise punches his horse in the face.

Pretty good movie. Got it for my wife. I like cruise but mainly his action movies- gotta check out Maverick or Jack Reacher, both are great.

Had It For Years On DVD, I Finally Upgraded Far and Away To Blu-ray.

The storyline was excellent throughout the movie, well done how the story connected all previous films into one.
