ubisoft should have left this at far cry 2. Dont kill a franchise. Should have worked on ac more and watch dogs

I had yet to play any of the other Farcry games but was intrigued by this game due to the reviews. The game began a little slow but once it picked up the story was very good and just when you thought you were done there was a whole new storyline. As mentioned in other reviews I wish there were more weapons but in reality on an Island like that you most likely will only find a small assortment of weapons so it is actually a bit more realistic (but not as fun). The game is not a waste of your money but would be a better value if you could get it for a sale price.

I have not played the first 2 of these games, and have not yet watched the movie, but I am LOVING this game so far. very fun, good story line, killer graphics, nice weapon choices, great gameplay. I would for sure recommend the game.

In my opinion this game is the game of the year. The graphics are phenomenal the amount of area to explore is never ending and the amount of people and animals to kill are unlimited. The gameplay is terrific and the way the music is used in certain situations to make you more nervous is amazing. 2012 was Ubisoft's year as they had several games that could be considered for game of the year but this is the best. I have not had this much fun playing an open world game since Red Dead Redemption. 9.75/10

The moment I started playing this game I was immersed into the vivid world. There is a ton to do and enjoy. I sunk many of hours into this thrilling game and still didn't do everything 100%. Also the Co-op mode is a stand alone story and stands up to be a great adventure on its own. This game has one of the most memorable villains in recent history. Without spoiling too much I definitely recommend that people pick this one up and enjoy it.

Great open-world game with plenty of things to do. The great graphics and audio really gets you immersed in the game. Multiplayer and coop adds some replay value. I don't know how this game compares to the previous titles but it's a must-have in my opinion.

I like the Game play, I really liked taking over bases with silent kills. Hunting men and animals was alright, some were riduculously simple, others incredibly hard. HUGE OPEN ENVIROMENT, with the best Quick Travel System of just about any game. My only real compliant was the goofy, stupid boss missions, you could never really see anything cause you are drugged(except for the last one), and you can not aim, it is really a hit and miss thing and hope for the best. Really the first boss mission , I dont know how I beat it. couldnt tell you how. Luck or the game just gave it to me. I would recommend this game - about 20 hours of game play to beat it and still haven`t 100%ed it

I was really looking forward to getting this game, as I never played the previous versions. When it came I dove right into it and am happy I did. The world is tremendous, the AI is challenging, the quests are exciting, and the gameplay itself is tremendous. This game is a must own for anyone who enjoys Sandbox type FPS games.

I had no expectations with this game, but it is awesome. I spent most of my time running around hunting animals and clearing outposts. The story is interesting and they keep mixing up the gameplay to keep it fresh. Watch out for those alligators!

Excellent game! Weapons and landscape look absolutely beautiful! So much extra things to do this game will keep you busy for days and days!....Nice change of pace from the real fast fps shooters like cod! I cant speak for online since I havn't played online yet! but from videos i have watched on youtube, the online looks awesome! This game is most definitely worth adding to any collection! though the story may not be as amazing as the first 2, the gameplay and size of the map make it worth every penny! ...BUY IT!

Far Cry 3 is a fun game with good graphics, sound and gameplay. The biggest issue with it is the storyline. There are a lot of great moments and build ups that don't fulfill by the end. Without spoiling anything, it should be said that the story isn't spooned, which is fine, but the ending just feels abrupt and anti-climactic. It is worthwhile to ay through once and check out most of what there is to do, but after beating the story, the desire to revisit this one wasn't there.
