I was bored at first when I started playing this game. But once I got into it, I was addicted. I played it WAY too much.. I have not finished the game with the exception of one mission that I havent been able to pass on the harder difficulty level I play on. But it took me a pretty long time to get this far and I would say well worth the purchase price of the game. I was thinking about getting the season pass for this game but I think it only includes a few things I already have and a quest or two which may not be worth it. I will keep checking it out in case they add a lot more content. I really hope they do. I highly recommend the game if you like open world, 1st person perspective games. I find I love this type of game and love the 'looting' aspect of it as well. Using the environment to enhance your stuff like weapons, abilities, skills, etc is fun to me. I am now playing dying Light and find it satisfies all those requirements just as well as Far Cry 4 did or better since the better the weapons in Dying Light, the less scary the really bad guys seem to become. I would definitely recommend Far Cry 4 to anyone. But know it is addictive once you get into it.

Great open play with few load points. I haven't played far cry since the first series, which was great. This is beyond great. It's easy to keep playing the game to get 100%, so many additions to just the main story line.

This game is for people who think the Elder Scrolls game is too long, but are still looking for a decent length game. There is a lot to do, and many interesting places to explore. A lot of different aspects to the game (towers that are puzzle-ish, animals that attack you). A good first person shooter, even if the A.I. is not top-notch. I think the biggest fault in the game, is that you should probably pick a skill level more difficult than what you are used to playing, but be prepared to be frustrated a handful of times. There are missions that should be harder (as the importance of what the enemy is defending), but there will randomly be a mission that is much less important, yet many times harder to beat. There's a couple random floaters (glitch) throughout the game, But nothing yet (75% finished) that has ruined the game. If you don't want to pay full-price for a game you don't know if you'll like, purchase Far Cry 3 first (older {prequel}, therefore cheaper). The two are near-identical game play... but I loved 3, and earned the platinum-trophy, so I wanted to get Far Cry 4 as well. I don't mind that they are so similar. If I wanted something radically different, I would have bought a different product. For those who might buy this for their kids, keep in mind, that there is violence, drugs, nudity and language (it confirms this on the box). I don't recommend this for children/kids.

Another round in the Far Cry saga finds you in Kyrat. New challenges, new enemies, and new weapons. If you like first person shooters, this is a must.

This is another great installment from Ubisoft and another great chapter of Far Cry. This time, in this first-person shooter, you find yourself in the Himalayas, killing the enemy and hunting new and different animals from the area. This game is full of action. From the opening scene to the very end. Some of the new items are the "Buzzer", which is a one person helicopter, that allows you to travel great distances quickly, and the "Arena", where you find yourself up against rival enemies and killer animals in a fighting arena where only the strong survive. This is probably the best installment of this game thus far. If you've played Far Cry before, you'll love it! If you haven't, you'll still love it.

Endless fun and amazing even on the PS3. Huge open world that plays great. The story is more compelling compared to the previous game.

Bought this game for my boyfriend. He loved it. I would recommend this game to any gamer who likes open world, first person shooters.

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed Far Cry 3 and we couldn't wait for the fourth. We have not been let down. If you played 3 you're getting the same thing in 4 with a few added skills. Riding the elephants and using them to liberate outposts never gets old. The wingsuit is fantastic, and kicking is a nice new feature. We haven't gotten far in the story of the game yet, but the open world play is as remarkable as ever. Being stalked and dive-bombed attacked by an eagle is insane. The animals and enemies are much smarter in this game than it's predecessor. The bow and arrow is a massive improvement as well, which I love because I prefer the silent as opposed to the gun's blazing approach. Over all this game is awesome. If you've played the 3rd one the 4th one is different and yet the same. I can't wait until we get up into the mountains. If you've never played Far Cry before, this is the game to join in on the fun.

I personally haven't played it but my son enjoys it. Story and game play look awesome....and the graphics are beautiful.

Best far cry yet. Wonderful graphics great story. Type of game where you can log in a lot of gameplay hours.

Far cry 4 does not disappoint. Just as the ones before this it is a mix of a first person shooter and a rpg that beautifully displays the power of the play station system. You can play the game anyway you want, sneaking around being virtually invisible or in a Rambo like manner where no one is your friend. Either way is fun and helps dictate the ending of your story.

Great graphics, lots of fun. Game keeps you busy! Recommend highly.

Well worth the $60, the time that it will take to beat the game will be just like farcry3. So far I think 3 was better (story/characters) music in 4 is annoying and play seems a little to repetitive but there are many different challenges to change it up during gameplay

I like this game. It is filled with lots of activities. I like the story too.

We still haven't upgraded to PS4 yet, however that move is probably coming at Christmas time this year. But this game translated well for the PS3. My wife and I enjoyed this one even more than FarCry3 which was an awesome game in it's own respect.

I am not usually a big gamer, but this has me hooked. I mainly play Uncharted, but the Far Cry 3 looked good, and when I saw this on sale black Friday I had to get it. I was not disappointed. This is a must have for any gamer.
