Game is fun overall. It has a great story and plenty of campaign content to keep you busy. There is also plenty of multiplayer fun. My only gripe is the ending could have been better.

I've been a Far Cry fan since Far Cry 2, which came out almost 10 years ago. Far Cry has come along ways in those 10 years, but they have also gone backwards in a few aspects. Regardless, Far Cry 5 is a solid installation to the series and has one of the better stories that I can remember. The visuals on this game really showcase what the Xbox One X is capable of. The game looks phenomenal in native 4K and HDR and is definitely the best looking game I've played to date. Ubisoft has been killing it the last few years with their releases, and Far Cry 5 is no different.

This is a fun game. I've played a majority of the FarCry series and I really enjoyed this one. The campaign seemed interesting albeit a little repetitive in some missions. The map feels huge and always feels like there's something to do. The game has a few bugs but they didn't interfere with my experience. The voice actors seem good and really help the story feel more complete. The side quests feel relevant to the story and help you understand more about the story. It's a great addition to the series and brought back some fun memories.

Great game! If you have never played the Far Cry series, you are missing out but you don't need to play them to enjoy this one thoroughly. Different story from their usual jungle themed games but great play as always. I am still in the beginning stages of the game (because there is always so much to do) but it keeps my upmost attention just like the rest. Ubisoft does a great job with this series, a ton of content and no repetitive boring stuff either. I would recommend this game and all of the other Far Cry games to everybody.

Good to see the Far Cry folks bring it back home; the Montana scenario is beautiful and--for the most part--accurate. Beautiful scenery; well constructed chapters. As usual with Far Cry, there is a steep learning curve from the beginning, but better story telling this time around. Lots of fun killing home grown terrorists; the NPCs are uniformly interesting. It gets an bit crazy/unreal towards the end, and the resolution of the final chapter will stun. Another quality product.

I haven't played any of the Fry Cry games before, but I gave this one a try anyway. It's a great game. I feel like the game-play is similar to The Last of Us but in an open world. I'm very pleased.

Great game but expect for a couple glitches. Ubisoft is always great at addressing these and getting them fixed quickly. No only would I recommend but I actually bought 2 copies one for a friend.

This game is awesome. Very interesting story line and very good gameplay. Has a few little bugs with some of the missions but nothing so bad that it detracts from the overall playability of the game. Huge open world map, a decent amount of different weapons and customizations for them. Plus having a dog (or bear or mountain lion, etc) as a companion is pretty cool. Definitely worth a play through or two!

I found this game to be more engaging than the previous entry in the series. It has more of the same, except this time it takes place in the U.S. It has a large enough open-world to run/drive/fly around in, random encounters, and great visuals. There's not too much to the story, but the plot is basically the same as the other games so don't expect too much of an engaging storyline.

Full disclosure this is the first Far Cry game I've played but so far I have very much enjoyed this game. The map is massive, you could spend hours working on the storyline or just as easily spend hours fishing in a lake. Multiplayer is lots of fun too and I have spent hours in the arcade. My only problem is with the story and I'll just leave it at that. If you can get passed that then you will find in this a game that'll hold your attention for hours and hours.

This game is so much fun. You can approach it quietly with a bow, roll in with a rocket launcher. Tons of missions. I've played about 8 hours and am about 1/3 of the way done.

The story is ok so far. However, if you own an Xbox X and a 4K/HDR TV this game is running in native 4K with HDR. Simply gorgeous. It's running good on the Pro as well. If you own the native PS4 or the S it is till gorgeous at 1080p or checkerboard 4K with HDR. It's just a gorgeous and fun game on any system. The action is intense and it's a satisfying game

This is my favorite FarCry game. I've played all of them so far, minus the expansions. If you're into culty characters, off the wall bad guys, fun side missions, and an awesome story, you should play this. In terms of gameplay, FarCry hasn't changed much in a while, but this one was really good.

Far Cry 5 is the most expansive entry in the series yet. The setting of the rural United States is a refreshing shake up and provides ample opportunity to show off the game's engine. If you have played previous Far Cry games then you already know what to expect. The open world is fun to play around in but when you get tired of it the story itself is interesting enough to see to the finish.

My boyfriend loves this game. He had Far Cry 4, Primal, and now 5. He's been playing for weeks. Just bought New Dawn.

Most gamers have played one of the entries in the Far Cry series. Its the usual open world sandbox, with a good story & hours of mind numbing fun. You can spend hours doing a whole lot of nothing just exploring. Its by no means perfect definitely glitches but they add to the charm. The controls are solid the graphics are too.

Immersive and fun as heck. Between Far Cry 4 and this game I would say that this one is slightly better. I like the Co-op capability. Anyone who enjoys first person shooters but wants something a little more adventure based should really give this a shot. Plus the story line really gets you hooked.

I got into Far Cry a few years ago, starting with the fourth, and have enjoyed all of them immensely. Love this open world - makes me want to visit Montana. Story is gripping and kept me coming back for more. This is my favorite addition to the franchise because of the setting and new hired guns system.

Got this on sale (digital only) for $15! Awesome graphics and very fun to play so much to do within the game!
