This DVD preserves the farewell concert of the Statler Brothers, and thankfully allows the fans of this wonderful quartet to relive their beautiful harmony, humor, and stories again and again through it. Getting their start with Johnny Cash, the group later went on to achieve great success on their own, and many of their big hit songs are included, as well as some meaningful gospel songs. Their music brings back many happy memories of another era in American life, a simpler, happier era that no longer seems to exist. I would heartily recommend this DVD as a must in the collection of any true country music fan. The only way it could be better is if it had been remastered in High Definition widescreen and 5.1 sound, and the lack of that is why I didn't give it 5 stars. But even so, I wouldn't be without it!
