An outstanding depiction of how mad, mixed up and murderous a banal backwater can be. Stupendous performances from Macy and McDormand, including excellent accents (though those people really from North Dakota might object). And though the Coens lied in calling this a "true story," it is filled with people you can'r believe are anything but real.

Not my favorite cover art, and the special features are heavily archived interviews. Still interesting to see, but they border on promotional rather than informational. If you want a bare bones copy, because the film itself really is all you need, this is a worthwhile purchase.

I love the Coen brothers, so when I saw this on sale, I had to get it. And man, I wasn't disappointed. Prepare yourselves for a slow-paced film with a payoff that makes it all worthwhile.

It's a pretty well developed film. The thriller aspect is good and the shots provided are really great shots. I would recommend watching it.

I won't review the movie since many have seen it and already know about it. The main point here is the 4K remastered Blu-ray. It looks exceptional (I don't have any previous BD to compare). The lossless audio is serviceable but this is not an action movie so don't expect your speakers to get a workout. Recommended.

This review is from the perspective of upgrading from the DVD version of this movie. The bluray video/audio is definitely a step above the DVD so it's worth it from this aspect. But the special features are the same as on the DVD and they are not in high def.

What can I saw about this movie. It's a great movie. Awesome drama, crime thriller. Coen brothers production. And they usually pump out great movies. Well acted. Won 2 oscars if that means anything to you. Highly recommended it.

Twisted and black humor, great characters, and engaging story, though not for the faint of heart. You'll be able to pick out MInnesotans for the rest of your life whenever you hear them. Great price for a blu ray

This newly remastered version is so much better than the prior version. Happy they put forth the time and effort in transferring this to make such quality movie! P.S. Check out FARGO Season 1...Amazing!

Fargo is full of one-liners and dark humor. It has great acting by Frances McDormand who won the Oscar for Best Actress for this role, by William H. Macy and Steve Buscemi. Great 90s classic!

The brothers finally hit it right with this one. An excellent movie. I really think this is a 4.5 rather than a 4 but I couldn't bring myself to give it 5 stars. Excellent cast, well acted.

Yup, this is a very good movie. Although the North Dakota accents were a little much at times, it was far off, knowing many people from North Dakota. A great dialogue driven movie.

Classic video worth adding to your library! Great to watch if you plan on watching the first TV series.

For a Blu Ray, I was amazed at how mediocre the picture and sound were. Someone at the studio did a mediocre job mastering it. Should have been better. Still a great movie!
