Noah Hawley continues to deliver a Coen Brothers vibe with a second fantastic season of Fargo.
This season takes place years before the events of Season One and features a strong ensemble cast of characters.
The only downside is that Fox seems to have decided this show will no longer be released on Blu-ray as Season 3 got only a DVD release.

After an excellent season 1, I was looking forward to season 2 with high expectations. The reviews oit there said that this season was even better than the first. In the end, I prefer the tighter story and pacing of season 1, as well as the cast. Season 2 had a few ridiculous moments that took me out of the story, and the story itself was less focused. The set comes packed with extras and commentaries. Overall, I recommend for season 1 fans, but try to temper your expectations.

Quite simply, Fargo is the best show on television. It's the rare instance of a TV adaptation of a popular film, that is just as interesting as the original source material. The writing, directing, acting; everything is fantastic, but the best part is just knowing what's going to happen from one week to the next. Oh yeah, and UFOs too.

This show, man... I wish I could have babies with it. It's that good. Second season? Arguably better than the first! The first one had a bullet train intensity, but this one is much more ambitious as it tells a tale that spans over decades and a great many characters. Noah Hawley is the newest Coen Brother.

I know The People vs. O.J. Simpson was the buzz show last year, but for my money the best show was Fargo Season Two. This season built on the strong performances from Season One, but created a more cohesive and superior story that was well written and acted. The Blu-Ray edition of this season is fantastic.

After watching the the Movie and then the 1st season which I also bought and had to have the 2cd season as well. Very well written and acted and the scenery is great even if is in the dead of winter in FARGO!! Give them all a watch especially if you liked the original movie.☆☆☆☆☆

The story and casting of Patrick Wilson and the delightful Kirsten Dunst made season 2 of Fargo a true delight. The story evolved in such a way that you were held at the end of your chair, and if you binge watched it like I did, you didn't have to wait for the next installment a week later!!

If you enjoyed Fargo Season 1 then by all means pick up Season 2 - though you need to know that it contains none of the first season's cast (all new actors/characters).
With that said - storyline is great, Patrick Wilson is very good, and it has patented Fargo feel throughout.

The Coen Brothers do it again!!! In their second season they bring together a larger group of actors- all with depth and texture, dripping in that 70's nostalgia. Laced with the dry witty black humor that accompanies most Coen Brothers movies. Sit back and enjoy the ride!

As with the first season, "Fargo" outshines almost all the Oscar-nominated feature films of the last few years. And it's much richer in story and texture than the Coen Brothers overrated comedy-drama. Solid acting across the board and polished cinematography make this a keeper.

Love the Coen Brothers. Season one hinted at what season two might be and it sure delivered. Loved Dodd and his extremely dysfunctional family. He did his best but still failed. Brad Gilbert can act seriously and still be funny. Super show but check out season one first.

this is amazing. The actors are awesome and the plot and story are beyond the norm and its only ten episodes per year. You will actually cheer out loud when it finally concludes with such satisfaction. There is a touch of oddness that will make you smile thru every show.

Fargo season 2 got off to a hot start but cooled down about halfway through the series. It wasn't as good as the first season but it's still worth watching. Kirsten Dunst was phenomenal as a delusional housewife. The 70's fashion and music rocked and helped immerse the viewers into the setting. The UFO added a nice, quirky touch to the series as well.

While I liked the first season of Fargo a lot (the Martin Freeman & Billy Bob Thorton combo work very well) this season was good as well. I particularly enjoyed the way they left the ending with some loose ends to either tie up in the next season or one after that

Season one was great and season two is even better. Such fantastic storytelling and the story is told in a very concise way. Some of the best writing and cinematography on tv along with some really great performances. Kirsten Dunst is especially great.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the second season but man was I surprised how much I loved it. Each episode felt like a movie, it is such a quality made show. I liked it more than the first season too. The quality of the blu-ray is top notch as well!

Why go to the movies when you can find better entertainment on television? FARGO Season 2 is edge-of-your-seat entertaiment. It's more engaging, funny, and weirder than 90% of the movies playing at the multiplex. Binge this series and enjoy.

The plot moves fast with a cast of unbelievable characters keeps you guessing until the very end. It picks up before Season 1 filling in the back story and draws the viewer into the crime under world. Kept me guessing until the very end.

If you're reading reviews of the series you probably have an idea of what to expect. If you're a fan of the movie and season 1 this will not disappoint this is a whole new version of the American family.I can't wait for season 3.

Not sure how anything could be better than season 1 of Fargo, but season 2 was a pleasant surprise. If you hesitated to watch this because the first season was so good you need to stop whatever you are doing and go watch! Great cast!
