So many great aliens made out of Jim Henson's creature shop. If you love puppet artistry that alone is worth checking out this series. The characters of this show make it. The personalities that are conjured for the series are great and there are many truly hilarious moments throughout.

Great Sci-fi Channel show from the past. Better in blue ray than back in the day on TV. I can’t stop watching the show even today Better than most shows today on TV. If you like puppetry and sci-fi. Buy it for you and a friend

Was sad when this show ended abruptly, this set is great because it includes the series plus the mini Obie they did to appease the fans of the show

Been wanting this show a long time in blu-ray and it does not disappoint. Great show. Great effects. Love the cast. So strap in and enjoy.

Farscape is a fantastic Sci-Fi series and we have finally received a collection of the entire show in a single set, with the films. The one caveat is, yes it is technically HD on disc but that's a bit misleading. It is actually upscaled from the PAL version of the show (PAL has a higher resolution than NTSC standard here in North America). Why not a full 1080p remaster? Two problems. First, the effects were all done digitally and would require access to the original film elements and a dedication that was needed to restore the likes of Star Trek TNG. The second problem is, those original film elements. Turns out a few weeks before someone decided they would go forwarded with an HD Blu Ray release, the original materials were destroyed. Apparently the materials had been held in case they would remaster and sat in a warehouse the size of a gymnasium waiting. They decided they couldn't pay the rent after waiting over a decade for the news of an HD release and decided they should stop holding out hope. And now, with those materials gone forever, this is absolutely the best it will ever look unless someone figures out how to work magic with an AI upscaler and even then, it will not be at full, from the source, quality. For what it is, the release is pretty bare bones in terms of packaging but they make up for it by including tons of video extras, which are all worth watching.

This is not a review of the Farscape television show itself. This is a review of the Blu-ray production quality. I own the first-run DVD set of the Farscape series, and this Blu-ray release is superior in image and sound in every aspect. For example, the pilot episode on the original DVD set is of terrible quality even for standard definition TV. However this Blu-ray version blows it away. Audio levels are better controlled. This is definitely a few steps up from the original television release of Farscape.

This set has all 4 seasons, the Peacekeeper wars mini-series, and a metric ton of extras as well. I have already started watching it all over again for what is likely the 5th time. It has aged well and always entertains. If you want a great Blue-Ray set to get your Farscape binge watch on, this it !

I missed a lot of this series when it aired, but enjoyed it when I saw it. The relationships and interactions between the characters is what pulled me in. You'll quickly forget that many of the characters are puppets, the performances are that good! It's nice to have the whole series (including the Peace Keeper Wars) all in one set! As with any show originally shot for SD, there are occasional shots that appear to be up-converted. I'm part way through Season 2 and so far they have been few and far between, nothing that would detract from your viewing experience!

The Golden Age of the Sci-fi Channel brought us many great great shows and movies. One of the best was Farscape. A great cast of characters and some really fun story arcs fill out the journey home after experimental astronaut John Crichton gets sucked into a wormhole. With puppets and prognostics by The Jim Henson Company, it is late 90's entertainment at its finest.

This set will provide many hours of entertainment. You need to be very careful when removing and replacing the discs.By carefully rocking each disc, you can get them out without breaking them. It takes a lot of patience.

This show is so wild, funny, action packed, and emotional! The puppetry is amazing!! You forget your watching puppets! The characters are some of the best and most interesting on tv! This set includes all 4 seasons and the miniseries that finished off the show. It looks beautiful on Blu-ray!

Love this show, so I was more than willing to fork out the money for Blu-ray...especially since my DVDs were getting a little worn having been shipped to my sister in Iraq and back again. It is true...the case is poorly designed. But, once you get the hang of it, it's functional.

I love to watch these older si-fi series that I watched years ago. The complete series of FarScape is one I am glad to have found to purchase. There are not any new si-fi series on the broadcast networks, so i rely on great old series to watch again. The price is worth it.

One of the best SciFi shows ever made. If you haven't seen it yet, I strongly recommend that you do. This show is exciting, fun, visually stunning, poignant, and has some of the best characters and design ever shown on TV.

The entire saga in one package. Also includes the miniseries, which had to be bought separately. The only problem is the packaging. Not the best of job, Should have done better, in my opinion. But the show is great.

With great visuals, strong acting, intelligent, funny dialog and gratuitous Muppetry, this is one of the most creative and entertaining science fiction series ever made.

Love this show ever since it first aired, and glad to finally own the whole series on blu-ray. My only complaint is with the packaging. The plastic box is really unnecessarily huge, even for a four-season show, and it's difficult to remove the individual discs from the spindles without fear of bending or breaking them. Simpler, smaller packaging would have been welcome.

The picture is clear in HD, This looks great on a HD TV. This is the best or one of the best Sci fi shows I've ever seen. You will love this show.

I loved this show when it first aired on Syfy so when it came out on blu-ray finally I just had to get so I could enjoy John Crichton's adventures all over again.
