The movie is great, but the disc has a problem with the audio.

I tried my hardest not to get into this saga because of when the first one came out I was not a huge fan of any of the actors at all. As they grew and grew and the writers pulled the whole story line together, I couldn't help myself. Even my dad wasn't sure if it was going to be his cup of tea. Too fast, Too furious, my ex husband saw when it was in theatres and I stayed home with our new born son. Now I wished I would have gotten a sitter. But with my 65" and surround sound, who needs a theater, I got one in my living room. Dom and Brian on that tv, omg. Yup I'm proud to say that I am now a huge fan!

I have been a fan of the franchise from the start. As they get farther and father into the franchise I was worried it would lose some intensity and stray too far away from the plot. This was not the case in the 6th installment. They were able to intertwine the previous movies into this one as well as prolong the franchise. The intensity was great throughout the movie with a couple of twist I was not expecting. There are a few parts when you are watching that make you think, "just not possible." But if you can put those aside and see if for the action/adrenaline type of movie that it is, then you will enjoy it.

Looking for an action movie that stresses family above all else. The action begins when Dom is given proof that Letty is alive and working for an international "spy" crew. Can't believe that I am saying this, but the action does come "fast & furious" in this flick. The stunt work on the highway is amazing even as it stretches the bonds of credibility. This a a great film to watch when you want to put your brain on hold and just enjoy a well produced/directed action yarn that has a surprise ending. Highly reccomended.

I've been a huge fan of all of the fast and furious movies since the very first movie. No other movie franchise focuses primarily on fast cars, humor, and an original plot that's connected to the last movie but has its own unique theme. I know each of these movies have very cheesy scenes, this ones definitely no exception. A never ending runway on the last scene or vin diesel flying across a bridge, slamming into his girl in midair, with no broken bones. But it's all part of the crazy, funny, sometimes unbelievable, awesomeness that makes these movies great!!

This movie is what changed my mind completely about the franchise. Fast Five was great, but it was this film with all of its fast cars and adrenaline that turned me into the series junkie that I now am. The storyline this time is saving Michelle Rodriguez's character technically from her own self. I won't get into it too much as this is a major theme of the story and don't want to spoil it in case you haven't seen it.

Note: This review is mostly for the steelbook and not the actual blu-ray disc. Sturdy case with a high gloss design on the front and back, that looks great if you complete the entire steelbook set. Would rate it 4/5. Knocked it one point for having no inside artwork. Fast & Furious 6 blu-ray looks and sounds fantastic. Unfortunately, even though the entire series is a bit silly and unrealistic at times, the final act is so absurd, it's hard to look past. Still a good film, a fantastic looking blu-ray to own and you can't beat getting the steelbook to complete your collection. - Picture: 5/5 - Audio: 5/5 - Steelbook: 4/5

First of all I am a super fan of this franchise. I was deeply saddened when PW passed away as if he was a family member of mine. Much like everyone around the world, I binged on all 5 films prior to obtaining the sixth installment. If you love fast cars, hot women, and bad guys with major butt kicking action then this movie right here is where you'll get your fix! Can't wait to see the 7th and final movie!!

Enjoy This Movie Series an all that it has to offer in the action as well the plots for which it thrives to take the bad in us & steer it to do something good....Not sure that it al is exactly the way to handle things in our real life, but for a movie it a good script!........Like the way the have tried to keep the orginal Characters in tacted as well because I feel they work good together on screen......

This is def one of the best movies in the FF series. I cannot put it above tokyo drift but it is def next in line. The reason i consider FF3 the best in the series is due to the little to no police involvement. street racing is an underground scene and the "law enforcement" involvement in every single one is what essentially ruins them. think about it ppl. i love the rock but if he is in tokyo Drift 2...it will more than likely not live up to expectation. street racing = no cops...none. (and in what imaginary world can vin D beat the rock...NO more VIN!!). if you love cars, women, and action...get it

This was a good movie, you should get it. That said, I was so excited to get 7, I wanted 7 in both BR and DVD format. I couldn't find 7 on line that way when it came out so I went to store to purchase and maybe find. I was excited about getting it, when we opened it to watch didn't realize I purchased '6' in the combo format. Darn now I can't return it. However, you should buy it.

I bought this because I knew that doing so, the studio was donating money on behalf of the late Paul Walker's charity. I would have bought this DVD regardless though because seeing these films has been a tradition for me and my brother to go see on the opening midnight showings. The DVD extras are awesome and also gives a sneak peek of the next film. I always LOVE seeing the behind the scenes stuff!

Number 6 really does a wonderful job of playing off the past 'prequels', while building a great new plot, excellent bad guy, and superb action that ties all together into a brilliant mesh of past and present. I liked the "feel" of this movie the best of the franchise, and the production quality seemed the best to me too. It had a 'maturity' in the series that I liked, and less 'offensive' parts.

If you have been following the Fast and Furious franchise you will not be disappointed with the 6th installment. This is a must see movie. I highly recommend. I will not give out any spoilers but there is a continuation that is very entertaining and leaves you wanting more. Of course this leads into the Furious 7 (which is out now in theatres). The cast really did an excellent job.

I have the rest of the movies, so this adds to the series. It has been interesting, because they seemed to ignore that the third one ever happened. But with this, they tied it in, and expect the next movie to tie everything up. They had a good way to explain a few things, like one character who "died" and is yet around, and the action is everything that one expects from one of these movies.

This series had great potential after the first story which was the best film of the series. However there is a scene where Dom and Letty engage deeply as Dom recants his memory of meeting Letty for the first time and shows the amazing potential for a more grounded and yet still good plot for this series. Other than that its the same blockbuster type over-exaggerated action and unbelievable plot that people are familiar with from the last film. This series is definitely on the downward trend in terms of quality, despite being on the increase in ticket sales.

This movie continues the long line of excellent action movies in this series. The movies had gotten a bit stale, but the addition of the Rock really stepped up the quality of both the story and the action scenes. Rock makes a great bad guy/good guy. The fights between Vin and Rock are epic! If you have surround or a sound bar, crank it up - you'll think you're in one of the cars!

The best so far, in the Fast and Furious series. The mix of Fast Cars, Action and a fun group of actors is one that cant be missed. Better to watch Fast 5 before this. In fact I'd recommend watching all movies from the 4th movie of the series. Its not often that a series can maintain its style and fun with each passing movie, and this is definitely one of those.
