I can't say enough good things about this game!
I was so impressed w/ the gameplay during the initial beta test that I violated a strict personal rule and actually pre-ordered the game. It reminds of of the classic days of fighting games: Easy to pick up, but very mechanically deep & hard to master(Virtua Fighter series comes to mind.)
Unlike most modern fighting games, there are NO comeback mechanics, but, a focus on the plethora of defensive options you have at hand to turn the tide.
Personally, I have had 0 problems with the rollback netcode, but I'm sure that will vary depending on your ISP/etc.
It's been worth the 26 year wait! Do yourself a favor and support SNK! Fatal Fury single handedly makes me yearn for the smoke filled, sketchy arcades of my youth. Nostalgia overload!

As a fan of fighting games, I had a blast with Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. The game feels like a great mix of classic arcade fighting and modern mechanics. The visuals are really stylish, and every fight feels fast and intense.
The roster brings back some iconic characters while adding a few new ones, and the combat system has a lot of depth once you start learning it. I especially liked how the game offers different control styles, making it easier for new players to jump in while still giving experienced players the precision they want.
The REV system adds a fun layer of strategy, letting you unleash powerful attacks and combos when you manage your meter well. It keeps fights exciting and rewards aggressive play.
Overall, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is a great comeback for the series. It’s stylish, challenging, and a lot of fun—especially if you enjoy competitive fighting games.

This game is definitely my favorite fighter right now! It isn't a simple button masher like some fighters have become recently. It does have a simpler control input for newcomers if they want it but for experienced gamers the arcade style feels great. Grab it while it's on sale, if you're even a little interested. The game is great!

This game was beautifully crafted and it’s very fun. There are multiple new associated storylines and options to compete in a tournament. Highly recommended

Finally, a new Fatal Fury. This one makes KoF 15 Look like a mobile game. It's a lot of fun, but I had to give it a 4 instead of 5 because I hoped it would play more like the Real Bout games.
