I WANTED THESE TWO MOVIES BECAUSE I HAD AN UNCLE IN WWII IN THE MARINES IN THE PACIFIC. I ALSO SPENT MUCH TIME IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC WITH MY JOB. THIS REMINDS ME OF BOTH THINGS WHEN I WATCH THEM.

A loving movie that reminds us that hero's and love are always close beside each.

This comical take on the Pacific Island watches, during WWII, is well done. The only thing serious about this story, is the war. And that is only the backdrop of the fun romp. A timeless classic that will always be fun to watch.

I like this old movie and since it has the lead actor playing a role that was not what most people often had seen him in I think that it helps to show the broad range of characters actors can play, and on a side note my maternal grandfather looked a lot like Mr. Grant

I've watched this movie for around 50 years, too many times to remember. It's very entertaining, great cast, and Cary is amazing. The Blu ray quality looks amazing.

This is n average and predictable Cary Grant movie. Not one to call a classic - such as "My Favorite wife", or "the awful truth"

For me, the best Cary Grant movie. It is a hilarious, comical, and romantic movie. He's a great "filthy beast" and shows an acting range some fans don't like.

Great acting set in WW2, great plot, plus the English Navy. Movie has everything you could ask for, and it's a very good comedy too.

Loved this movie since its original release, have a VHS tape that won't play on my HDTV and it is worn out. Looking forward to many years of continued viewing of this DVD.

My wife has never seen this really old movie and I was delighted delighted to be able to add this great movie to our movie collection and we are looking forward to viewing it whenever we want.

I enjoy Cary Grant's sense of humor, not taking himself too seriously. He portrays that beautifully in this movie about a man who just wants to escape from the world and all of it's demands.

This is one of my mom's favorite movies and she is a huge Cary Grant fan. So of course, she needs this one for her collection :) If you haven't seen it, you're missing out!

I watched this movie growing up, with commercials. Now is the time to watch it again without commercials. I loved this movie.

I remember watching this as a kid on TV and still enjoy it today. If it can with some extras, even a commentary I would give it 5 stars

Great movie with plenty of humor without a lot of the foul language in most movies today.
