My favorite film of 2020. The cast is fantastic and it is way darker and far more measured than the trailer let on. If Santa were real and dealing with today’s world and problems, this is what you’d get. It’s a shame so few people saw this in theaters due to a world wide pandemic. Sure to be a cult hit.

If you keep an open mind that this is not the typical Santa Claus movie, and Santa is a bad dude that's willing to do anything to protect the North Pole, then you'll enjoy this movie! Probably not kid-friendly however!

Slightly dark and requires a suspension of reality, but a fun holiday revenge film. Mel Gibson fits right in, violent with some humor, not a family movie unless you are the Addams family.

This one officially knocked out Die Hard as my favorite Christmas flick! It would be an awesome double-feature with Violent Night starring David Harbour!

This was a different take on Santa Claus movies. I have always said, Mel Gibson can carry a movie even if it's written poorly. If you like action movies and Mel , this one was fun and had its share of humorous moments. I would actually give it 3 and a 1/2 stars , not 4. That being said ,I really did enjoy the movie and would recommend it. The little boy definitely deserved to be on the naughty list. Walton Goggins was a fun pick for the hired hitman.

Mel Gibson is a controversial actor, but upon watching Fatman, a film where Gibson plays a grizzled, disheartened Santa Claus, I was reminded how charismatic of an actor he is, and how much of presence he is on screen. But aside from that the film knows what it is, but plays it straight which only adds to its enjoyment... and might be the second best action Christmas movie (Die Hard being number 1)

Mel has been somewhat under the radar lately. Fatman is one such film you have to look for. It's surprisingly , funny, action packed and a great movie experience in general. Much like The Nic Cage starring Willy's Wonderland. The stars of yesteryear show they still got it at this stage in their careers.

I loved this movie! Nothing better than a cranky old santa down on his luck. Mel Gibson's still got it! He matches wits with a snot-nosed spoiled little brat. I will watch this fun movie every Christmas, it has a home in my Christmas collection.

Pretty good “B” movie. A different take on a Christmas movie, but still pretty good. It starts a little slow, but eventually picks up steam. Walton Goggins is tapped into his character and does it well like he has in other roles like Boyd Crowder in Justified.

Best Christmas movie since Die Hard. It was hilarious and I had fun watching it. Santa Claus is fighting to save his declining business and is forced into a partnership with the U.S. military. Meanwhile, Billy, a neglected and precocious 12 year old, hires a hit man to kill Santa after receiving a lump of coal in his stocking. Definitely some dark comedy at its best. Take a look.

Any movie that's concept is whacky enough to pit Mel Gibson as a Rambo-like Santa being stalked by hitman Walton Goggins is definitely worth a watch. Walt steals the show as usual.

If you want to see a different kinda Christmas movie....this is the one to watch....I loved the take on Santa Claus and Mel Gibson was great as the title character.....I can't say no more because I don't want to be a spoiler for the movie. P.S. its not a Christmas movie for little kids.....like "miracle on 34th street" or "it's a wonderful life"!!!!!

This is the weirdest Christmas story I ever saw - really funny in some spots - really happy when "Santa" (Mel) lets the bad guys (and the bad Kid) have it.
