Excellent Lens!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having owned cameras and lenses from nearly every digital camera system, I can say that this is my favorite walk around zoom lens I’ve ever owned. The images are outstanding and the AF speed is right there with it. I would recommend every new Sony shooter to purchase this as their first lens!

Great do it all lens!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clear, sharp, lots of range.... AND 1/2 the price of the comparable GM lens that only does 24-70! Of course not as fast as the GM bit f4 works out great for most!

Great walkaround lens!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 24-105 f4 on my Sony a7rii is very sharp, has nice bokeh, and is the perfect focal range for travel.

It is an entry level pro lens
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pair this lens with my Sony A7Rii. I like the versatility of the lens and the constant F4. This is my all around lens when I am doing street photography. All I can say is...It does the job. But dont expected an F2.8 GM results. But if you are creative and have ample light. You can achieve the F2.8 result. I highly recommend it.

Pro Level Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really was between giving this review 4 and 5 stars. Settled on 4, and here's why: Pros: Works Great, Makes Pictures Better, Constant aperture lets in more light and takes less time changing settings in manual, works on crop sensor and will still work on full frame, comes with a really sweet lens hood. THIS LENS WILL MAKE YOUR PICTURES BETTER. Cons: Weight. It's a pro level lens that has awesome glass inside and it's a full sensor compatible lens. That adds weight, which isn't for everyone. Currently using with an a6300, so the lens is significantly heavier than the camera. I hold the lens between shots rather than the camera because (1) it's heavier and (2) it's more expensive. Another con is the price, but I think the better quality picture you get will be worth it.

Nice zoom lens for my A7 iii
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a better zoom and this works. As expected, it is much heavier than the kit lens so I use this lens for parties and events and i use the kit lens for casual street photography (since its lighter). Its convenient having the G button. My Tamron F2.8 lense takes nicer photos but it sometimes has communications issue with the A7, so its safer sticking with a Sony lens for parties.

Excellent lens
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing lens. Absolutely sharp at F/4, and only gets better as you stop down. Incredibly versatile; I use as my main video lens but could easily serve as a great travel lens in combination with my staple prime lenses (35mm and 85mm). If you’re thinking of getting into photography, I highly recommend this as your first lens as it gives you a wide array of bedrock focal lengths to play with to figure out what primes you would like to obtain. But don’t worry about retiring this lens, as it will be in your bag more often than not.

Great overall Sony lens for Sony Full-Frame
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am using this Sony lens with my Sony A7Riii and it has been great so far. I do like the versatility of the lens and the constant F4. I actually bought this to be my all-around lens when I am doing travel and nature photography. It is not the F2.8 GM, but it does the job. With the kind of photography, I am shooting, this is more than enough and the rest I can do using post-editing and save an additional $1,000+ to get some additional gears and gadgets.

My Go to lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my favorite lens to travel with because it gives me so much versatility. I use it mainly for Street photography, however, I have used it for Portraiture with no issues at all and my photos still come crispy sharp, obviously if you’re looking for the super creamy “bokeh” effect, this might not be your lens!

Good lens, constant f/4, lighter than 24-70GM
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the end I opted to return this lens and get the 24-70 GM. I wanted to try this lens as it had a little better range, but in the end I found the extra range was not as important as being able to go down to a f/2.8 f-stop. Unfortunately Sony cheaped out on the design of this one, so when you zoom out it protrudes to become a longer lens rather than the professional lenses that can zoom in/out and remain the same size. Other than that the lens was sharp and seemed well made. I will recommend this lens, but only because it is decently priced for what it is. The design is really embarrassing the way it sticks out as you zoom. It looks like you have a cheap kit lens when you are out with your professional Nikon/Canon buddies.

Fantastic zoom
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pairs great with a7iii. Do-it-all zoom range from wide to medium telephoto with a nice constant f4 in a solidly built package. With lens and body stabilization and great high iso of Sony’s ff sensors, f4 is fast enough for broad range of shooting scenarios. Quality filters at this large diameter can be pricey.

OK Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this lens when I purchased the Sony a7R III. I was extremely excited to get them both. The a7R III camera is beyond awesome, but this lens leaves some to be desired. Not a bad lens overall though. Pretty sharp with little distortion. I took it on vacation and it proved to be a versatile zoom lens for the most part. Typically I don’t use zoom lenses so it was nice to have that zoom capability out to 105mm. Personally, I’m not a fan of the F4 though since I don’t like using a flash and take a lot of low light pictures. My go-to lens is Sony’s 35mm F1.4 and this comes nowhere close to the performance of that lens. Overall, relatively pleased, but will not be using this one often.

Great Bang for the buck zoom lens for Sony E-Mount
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are a lot of reviews online for this lens, so there's not much more that I can add other than this is the all-around best walk-around travel lens to get, if you're on a budget, don't want to bring too many lenses, and have an A7III body. Losing a stop of light to comparable mid-tele lenses like the Sony G-Master 24-7 f2.8 version & 16-35 f2.8 G-Master combo is mitigated by the fact that the A7III has clean, usable, imaging up to ISO 10k, so to me, it was worth the huge savings over the G-Master combo versions. One thing to note is that the body does extend out when you change focal length, rather than stay the same overall length while zooming. Otherwise a great overall lens for the money!

Great lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased an A7III as my first DSLR and did some searching for a solid single lens to get me started. This lens came up in every list of recommendations I found so I decided to give it a try. After checking stock for a couple weeks I finally found it available and jumped on it. I'm still learning the camera and photography in general, but it seems to take great pictures so far. I eventually plan to get a wider angle lens and a bigger zoom lens because I have found that while this lens is great I find myself wanting to fit more in the image or zoom closer.

Love this zoom
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm using this on an A7Rii. I have been using the crazy sharp Zeiss 55 and 35mm prime lenses in the past. In my own tests, I have been amazed that this zoom is almost as sharp as those lenses, the main (minor) drawback being the slower aperture. I took it on an eleven day cruise, and love the results. The pictures look great, and I was able to get shots I would have missed fumbling around with fixed prime lenses. At the longer length, it gives great portraits with beautiful bokeh. If you have an A7, you won't go wrong this lens.

Awesome Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a hard time getting this lens. But once I received it I was very happy. Surprising light for the size. I also have the 70-300 it’s very heavy. The 24-70 shoots great from wide angle to distance shots. The F4 throughout is great.

Excellent All-Around Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The is an excellent all-around lens. It takes clear photos, and provides a lot of flexibility in terms. I took off one star for its weight. I shoot with a Sony A7 III, which is lightweight. This lens somewhat counterbalances that benefit. But for the money, it is well worth it.

Great overall lens for everything!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little worried when I purchased this lens because of the f4, but after using this in the field I have to admit how impressed I am with how well it operates. I have a Sony A7R2 for my body and equipped with this lens, the photo resolution is ridiculously sharp. At f5.6, the lens is TACK sharp. I mean from the center to edges, 100% sharpness. The 24mm -105 served remarkably well. I had every focal length I could have ever wanted. Zoomed to 105mm, the compression for photos is amazing! Great for Ports, landscapes, street. EVERYTHING! I came from shooting only primes, 50mm 1.4, 35mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8... Really smart investment. check me out on my IG to see photos taken with the lens @bgrams__
