This series was slow to build at first, but I feel it gave the audience more time to get to know these characters and understand who they were early on, before everything changed. With The Walking Dead, we only got to know most of the characters after they were already thrust into their situations. Very much recommended!

With The Walking Dead being such a huge hit you may ask why should i purchase Fear The Walking Dead... The story starts off at the beginning of it all, giving us more details, more scares, and more impelling characters to root for. No walking dead collection is complete without this set.

Watched this one when it aired on television and enjoyed the first have half of it. Got busy and when I saw this for a great price during Black Friday I thought this was a perfect opportunity for me to own it and marathon my way through the entire season. Can never have enough zombies!

What a great spin-off this turned out to be from the Walking Dead! I'm even so brave to say that I might even like it more than The Walking Dead. It's got thrills, chills, and excitement in every next move, and upcoming show in the series...I love it!

When this series first aired I didn't really like it but after going back and watching it really got into it this time around, very different and fresh outlook of the zombie apocalypse compared to the walking dead everyone should give this show a chance.

I like this show unfortunately it's not as good as the walking dead. My problem with these shows has always been too much character development, too much drama and a soap opera feel about it,I don't wanna get to know the characters! I wanna see them all get eaten and more zombie attacks!

No it isn't TWD it's a series all it's own and if you watch REMEMBERING this, you will find a series with great promise. Character development and story line get's better in Season 2 but YOU NEED season 1 to get the feel for the show. I love it! Suck it up buttercups, Maddie IS my favorite character!

LOVE it! Going back to when it all started but from different peoples perspectives and location! Robert Kirkman and others beautifully started over from TWD. The fans that don't like FEAR are just blood hungry desensitized animals. lol. It's goof folks! Keep watching and you will like it more! RESPECT!

This totally picks up after a couple episodes. It is a prequel to The Walking Dead, so the dead are not their really in the beginning. I really enjoyed the building of the characters and the break out. If you are a Walking Dead fan, you need to see where it all begins with Fear the Walking Dead.

If you don't get enough zombie fun with the walking dead, here comes Fear The Walking Dead set a few months before the events of the original show with a different cast of characters. If you like the Walking Dead then you'll know what fun you're in for.

This show is pretty good. I like the way it's not just a direct copy of The Walking Dead. Feels completely different. The first 3 episodes or so are a little slow but it starts to pickup with the last 2-3 episodes. Very interested to see where this show goes.

FTWD isn't nearly as good as TWD, but this season gets things moving along. My primary complaint would be that the season moves a little too fast; e.g., the outbreak happens, but it's mainly happening "off-screen" after the first episode or two.

This series is a different approach to the walking dead. I like the style as it shows the deterioration of a community rather than complete destruction of a large city in one blow. I think it was well thought out and will be purchasing or viewing season 2 in the near future.

Unlike Walking Deas, Fear the Walking Dead takes you to the beginning of the zombie outbreak. It's a slow burn at first but before you know it the zombies are taking over leaving the main characters to their wits to servive the living dead apocalypse!

I watched this series with no high hopes as the other show to me had grown stale. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this new series of Walking Dead. This new show definitely re-ignited my interest in the series. The music alone is amazing with a score by Atticus Ross.

At some point all the Walking Dead fans likely wondered how the zombie apocalypse started and now we get to find out. I haven't watched the whole season yet but what I've seen has been decent although I do prefer the original series.

Actually, I have not watched this show yet. I wanted to finish the walking dead series before I started this fear The Walking Dead series. So it looks like it's early in the breakout of the zombies from the way the zombies looked in the trailor.

Loved this first season, watched it when it aired. Had to get one for me (and then another one for my friend for Christmas). Interesting start to the series. Loved the dynamics behind the characters and their dis/functionalities. Can't wait for the next season to start up!

I like the fact this has a different story line and what I think to be a much more detailed and character driven development for a series. Don't get me wrong, I still love the Walking Dead, but this is different in a good way!

The Special collectors edition is really cool it comes with tons of bonus features and the blu ray makes the picture great I would recommend this to any the walking dead or fear the walking dead fan.
