Good blank cds, should be stocked in stores for easier access. But ordering online and store pickup was also easy!

You can print photos or images on the disc as well as text. Great for photo or video discs for family.

I will buy I Tunes or MP3 Music and then burn them on to the CD for my car. My husband does not like listing to the same Artist so this way I can mix up who is on the CD. We do a lot of traveling to see our Grand Kids and this Summer we are taking a trip by car to my home to see family in Dallas, TX so we will be in the car for 6 day there and back total. You need music because there is no reception on a lot of the trip.

Recently purchased a external lightscribe dvd/cd burner, I purchased these just so I could see how it works. Although these were the cheapest ones i could find they were still more than I really wanted to pay.

My family and I picked our favorite Christmas songs and burned them on the CDs. Afterwhich, we lightscribe our family picture onto the CD and gave them as gifts. They were a big hit and the sound quality was awesome!

When I got these, I did not care about the brand or what others say about it. CD-Rs are all the same and they all do the same function; hold information, such as music, to be listened to or viewed later on another system or player. These are no different. Put it in, open iTunes, WMP, or whatever you have, and burn a playlist to it. Some of them are duds(will not burn) because they were made incorrectly at the factory, but it always happens. Anyway, I got the lightscribe ones because I am a disk label artest and I like to make my own CD art. 1: Sharpies look bland or ugly 2: Print-on labels waist ink and are a B**** to work with. These are perfect for me. Yes they do cost a little bit more than regular ones but thats because ofthe lightscribe feature. If you don't use this feature, your better off the plain ones. They work just as good.

After reading the reviews here I was going to go with the more expensive Verbatim discs. My wife was by the store and picked up the Memorex instead because they were on sale and she did not see the Verbatim discs. I burned two audio CD's with lightscribe labels and both worked well without problems. I found previously that I have best luck when I let my HP burner burn at its highest speed. I got a few coasters (disks that did not work after burning) when I choose a slower speed for burning. I was burning DVD's then, so they may have been more sensitive than CD's. Based on two for two successful burns I recommend these Memorex CD's.

These CD's work well, just as regular CD's do. What's special is that they use the Lightscribe labeling technology. I used to print and apply labels, but it became such a hassle. The Lightscribe laser-etches labels, which is so much simpler, more professional looking, and quicker than using regular labels. After using Lightscribe, I don't see how I could go back to traditional CD's. I was burning some audio files, and it would have been nice to be able to fit more than two on the CD, but given the nature of the audios and the fact that CD's only fit so much, it wasn't a hassle. Bottom line, much better than regular CD's without Lightscribe.

Very goos performance, value and easy of use are all part of this product have not used this brand before and am very satified.

Bought these as they were the largest spindle that I could buy locally... Price wasnt bad and well Memorex isnt Exactly Generic or are they. I got home and Started to do up a couple disks. Lightscribe was great... First Cd off the top. Went to do another disk.. Had 5 total that I needed done. Second Cd.. Error.. Stalled.. Tried for quite a while.. Tried everything new drivers and everything. Nothing worked.. Grabbed the 3rd cd.. Same thing.. 4th cd Same thing... At this point I am Frustrated.. I am thinking my new Drive is shot.. Grabbed a Random cd from the middle of the stack.. Label burns no problem. So I set the bad cds to the side and tried the 5th one down.. No Good... Very Upset now... Grabbed another Random one from the middle... No problem... Another Random one from the middle No problem.. To get my 5 cds I went thru a total of Twenty of the 50 cds I purchased. 15 Cds were bad.. Contacted Memorex thinking I was going to have to send the Bad Cds back to them. I would have just sent the entire remaining spindle. 75% failure rate is pretty horrible.. Why waste my time any further. They say they will send me out a New 50 pack but wanted the Receipt... How many people honestly keep a receipt for $22.99 for CDs... I explain that I dont have the Receipt but would gladly send them the remaining spindle plus the bad ones at their cost. They Refused.. It was either Receipt or nothing... Finally they Offered that they would send me out replacements for the Defective ones so far only but If any more were bad It was my loss... They wanted me to go thru the Rest of the 30 cds and Try them all and call them back with the Total Quantity... No they did not want to wait the 2-3months that I would take me to Casually do this... They wanted it done today and call them back tomorrow... Completely Unacceptable... 25mins to burn a working lightscribe label, 10-15mins to design each label, decide, purchase and download all the music you can think of wanting. If the disk Errors out on the label print that takes about 10mins to find out on top of everything else... Thats about 6hrs of my time if all of the remaining Cds were bad... I took my losses and DEcided to just "Share My story" instead. If your just doing Data great. Lightscribe labels WATCH OUT. I am at a 75% failure rate... SAVE your receipt if you purchase these and want any sort of warranty on them. WE all have an Occasional Coaster but 25% of the spindle so Far come on.. I have since bought Verbatims and had no Issues so Far and I have done 5 more CDs... Granted they were just a copy of the Previous 5 that I did all 5 worked right off the top without any issues... The lightscribe disks I bought worked perfect at no problem. Just make shure you have the software that came with the CD drive. that could be the solution if your having troubles with the disks
