When you are pouring the water you need to pour it slowly otherwise water may get out from the kettle. I like the function of keeping the water warm

I purchased the white and within a couple of months the lid began to discolor and turn yellowish. I never even actually bring water up to boiling point so it's not like I have abused it or something. Considering you're really paying for the aesthetics of this thing, it has been a disappointment. I also tapped the tip of the spout (really, not hard) against the side of the sink and it chipped the white coating off. I was surprised at how easily it flaked off.

The technology is ther but companies use a bunch of plastic junk. I've tried them all from ninja to DeLonghi. This product is the best of the best.
