I purchased the air purifier for my child who has asthma. The purifier helps reduce irritants out of the air and runs pretty quiet. The only drawback is the lighting. The bright blue lights are too bright to leave on during the night as she tends to think it's playtime.

Relatively quiet apparatus, looks nice as well. Two-part filter is easy to clean, doesn't seem to get dirty too quickly.

The Fellowes air purifier works well and is a nicely designed machine. Overall, it's a good quality machine and it works EXACTLY as advertised. It removes odor and dust from the room, which has ultimatley relieved allergies for a couple of us in the house. It operates quietly at idle speed and when it senses odors it turns up the speed to help remove those odors quickly. The Fellowes Air Purifier uses a true HEPA filter to eliminate and get rid of bacteria, viruses and dust particles. This was very important to me during my time of purchase especially with flu season approaching and little kids running around the house all day! I am pleased with my choice in this air purifier and would reccomend to anyone who is in the market for one.

I'm trying to take baby steps to remove toxins from my body, food, and environment. The AeraMax DX55 Air Purifier has been a great place to start. It's sleek, slim, and stylish (perfect for my cozy studio apartment). It barely makes a noise, and had a no-fuss set-up. I'd recommend it to people who are looking to remove allergens and other toxins from their home!

This air purifier is great. It is very quiet and I really like the automatic sensor that tells it to "ramp up" when greater air purification is needed (due to a passing odor, pollen, other allergens, etc.). Even on the highest speed it's really not very loud. I also like that the colors change from blue to yellow to red depending on the allergens in the air that it's working on dissolving (if you will). There is a setting that can be chosen during the peak allergy season which is great! I have terrible allergies and a dog and this really helps - my eyes are no longer itchy and even my pup has been sneezing less! I highly recommend this product and it's actually cute too!

This air purifier was super easy to setup. I put it in my baby's room to remove smells from the trash (dirty diapers!), and so far so good. I also really like the sleek design.

This Fellowes AeraMax DX55 Air Purifier was FANTASTIC! Our home was filled with mechanic smoke smell due to some home repair going on (the huge machine tipped over in our yard and filled the yard and home with a HORRIFIC mechanical burning smell.) The smell was so terrible that we got splitting headaches. We had plugged the Fellowes AeraMax DX 55 just the evening before so I was curious to see if it would really work -- this was surely an ideal test for it! Low and behold, within 2 hours our one story home was liveable. Within 3 there was only a faint smell left. After an hour more, we were golden. MIND YOU the home was FILLED with this smoke. Not just a little smell. Since then it's taken care of minor home odors (dog, living on a farm, sweaty kids after practice) and has kept our allergies almost completely at bay. We're not new to air purifiers, we've had another one for years but this one beat our previous purifier by LEAPS and BOUNDS! Oh and set up was less than 5 minutes from opening the box to plugging it in. Thank you Fellowes! I recommend this air purifer, hands down.
