After deboning the front shoulders of a deer I used the larger grinder blade to run 6 pounds of meat through. I placed the cool meat in the freezer for about 10 mins prior to grinding, this helped a lot. I had to stop and clean the grinder as it got clogged twice, I was going slow with the quantity of meat being added. I placed the smaller grinder blade on and ran the meat through again with no problems.

It is easy to mount and easy to clean once you have finished. The plastic screw core makes it look a bit less durable than what would be expected of this brand.

I purchsed this item for a Christmas present. However all the other KitchenAid Attachement I have purchased have been wonderful and I am sure this one will be no exception! KitchenAid has been one of my favorite brands ever since I sold them in my Sales and Service store in Shelley, Idaho many years ago.
