i bought two of this and placed one at the basement where incoming water line splits and placed another in upstair bathroom where frequent flooding happens due to the clogged toilet. Installation was super straight forward and Apple homekit immediately found them and added as accessaries. Devices monitors the temperature and fluid/moisture on the floor real time. They sensors are about at least 30 feet from Homekit base which is my Apple Homepod and works flawlessly. As a test, drop of water applied and device screamed. Highly recommended for the anyone concerned about leak anywhere.

Bought this sensor because it works with HomeKit as well as it’s own app. It’s battery powered (battery is included) and also has a small siren built into it. Easy setup. Will be purchasing more.

The flood sensors and the app are barely OK. I would not recommend them as of now. To start with the app - it doesn't offer an easy way to identify the flood sensor. My point is that it should be able to have the sensor beep when you are trying to locate it and trying to make sure it is "alive". You can get the app to have a small light flash on the sensor but the light is pretty weak. And if the sensor is under some other items then you can't see the flashing light. The app doesn't have a battery level indicator for each sensor. The sensors themselves are also strangely basic. One of my sensors keeps going off wifi AND also I am not notified via the app so I have NO idea this has happened.

Works with my home kit and give me a piece of mind when we are not home. We liked it with a shut off valve..

I bought this to let me know if my hot water heater leaks. With the hard water here, even with occasional flushing, the tanks don’t last forever. Hopefully this will prevent any water damage should there ever be a leak. HomeKit compatible too.

Great HomeKit integration

I purchased one of these sensors to go in the leak pan next to my water heater in the garage. Its a small easy to handle unit with an alarm noise and led light when it reacts to water. Unless the unit is going under a kitchen sink or in your laundry room then these two alarms aren't much use if you are going to put it in your garage like I did! However, this unit connects to Apple's HomeKit system and this is where it makes the unit VERY useful for me. Typically HomeKit integration has been a little hit and miss for many of my enabled products (I'm looking at you Wemo!!) but Fibaro have nailed the process. It took 15 seconds and it was done. At first I didn't believe it could be that easy, but it was! Other manufacturers take note! Anyway, I tested the product in a saucer, then poured in some water and it bleeped, lit up and an alarm came up on my phone screen. It just works. I have since bought 2 more for the house (laundry room and under the sink where the alarm noise WILL help!). A great product. There is also the FibaroHome app that acts as another HomeKit style control app. It is very good too! I'd go so far as to say its better than the HomeKit app itself!
