A great fact-based movie portrayal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The movie is based on Martin McGartland's real life story, who is recruited by the British Police to spy on the IRA. He works his way up the ranks, saving lives and taking blows in the process, and to me what really polished and solidified the film was Jim Sturgess's heartfelt performance. Martin was ultimately 'used' by both sides and really couldn't depend or trust either side, which is where you truly see a man torn apart. This is a great drama!
