Fifty Shades Darker hardly qualifies as smart moviemaking. Edgy, maybe, but beyond its signature sex-capades is a vacuous character drama with little to offer beyond various romps and sex toys and their rather explicit usage. Universal's Blu-ray, however, is excellent. Video and audio are near pristine and the package includes a decent little array of extra content. Fans can buy with confidence.

This is the sequel to E.L. James the Author's books but picking James Dornan to play the character/role Christian Grey and picking Dakota Johnson to play the character/role Anastasia Steele they're such great chemistry also I did read all 3 books plus I know the next movie is the trilogy "Fifty Shades Freed" I can't wait and this movie is just breathtaking stunning knockout extremely more intriguing inventive!

"Fifty Shades Darker" delves deeper into the lead male characters past and shines more light as to who he is and why. "Christian Grey" and "Anastasia Steele" cautiously reignite their passionate flame while "Christian's" past loves do everything in their power to extinguish it. A fantastic soundtrack with many well known current songs accompany this film along with an abundance of steamy romance scenes.

I have been waiting for this continued story on dvd than read the book. Visual to see everything makes the story better Christian is so sucessful good looking smart falling for Anastasia .She is smart so well to capture his heart and stay independant .Can hardly wait for next dvd to follow the story.My Reward points bought this movie .Love the reward points to buy whatever you want with your spending.

I bought this as a gift. It's not really my cup of tea. But there are people that like it a lot

Rarely does a movie accurately portray what was presented in the book text and this one is no different. Several parts of the plot have been omitted or changed. i.e. Christian & Ana first getting back together was totally different and Dr. Flynn has been totally omitted with no reference at all. I did love the sound track for this film. I look forward to the last of the trilogy, Fifty Shades Free.

If you didn't see it in the theater; you most definitely have to purchase it for home. Curl up with your favorite snacks and drinks, or invite the girls over for a sleep over. This movie will definitely give you the romantic fix you've been craving! The director did a much better job with this movie, maybe because the second book had more to the story line. Any way I digress...buy this movie!!

I liked the movie and I thought the quality of the 4K UHD was good! If you aren't a fan of these movies (or books) then it will be hard for you to watch. My boyfriend isn't a fan but maybe I can get him to finish the movie with me. I think there are some really sexy scenes. I liked it. Best Buy did a good job with delivery and I think it was $2 off for the purchase itself.

Part two of that wacky world of Mr Grey. This movie delves into erotica and what dark desires that became instilled in the mind of a young lad and became a lifestyle and emotional need. When he finds another type of caring/love, it turns his world upside down causing him to reconsider that lifestyle. Interesting and well acted but not a family movie night choice

A sequel that I thought wasn't going to be as good as the first but it was originally got this when my wife who is in love with the books but found out that it's cool for guys to apparently stays true to the books and the cast did an amazing job while keeping it tasteful and entertaining a great deal with this combo pack not good for kids but definitely a date night movie

The Steelbook comes with a Blu Ray disc as well as a regular DVD copy of Fifty Shades Darker. It works wonderful and it's very clear. The Steelbook case feels great and is easy to open. This is my third Steelbook purchase (Deadpool, X-Men Apocalypse, and now this movie). I'm slowly becoming a fan of Steelbooks, and at $20, it is almost a steal!

The hubby and I have been waiting for this movie to come out. As a preview, we watch 50 Shades of Grey to remind ourselves of all the characters and story lines. Then on to the "Darker!" Wow! It was 50 plus! Can hardly wait for the next one. The story is deeper and has new characters in the film. All the originals plus new ones, is a can't miss! A great movie.

I have read all of the books, and therefore had to see the movies. The first was alright, but it lacked a lot of what made the books popular. I suspect they tested the waters with the first, and after feedback decided to go all-in with the second..which I'm glad they did because they nailed it! Such a great movie that follows along closely enough with the book.

My wife is really into these books so when they were making the movies, she said she would drag me there if she has to. The first movie wasn't terrible, but not great. When the second movie came out, we weren't sure what to expect. We both admit, it was much better than the first. It still deviated from the book, but what movie doesn't.

Quite honestly, I was surprised at how much I have enjoyed these films. They aren't cheesy, despite the consistent melodrama, and the actors have good chemistry together. While not as dark as 9 1/2 weeks, I found it just as sexy. Bluray presentation looks fantastic and sounds great. All in all, a nice addition to my collection!

I bought 50 Shades Darker dvd, as it was the date of release. I easily found it, in your new releases. A very helpful woman salesrep helped us, in our payment and off, we went in such a few minutes of our time. Your female sales rep thanked us and we thanked her back. Your person at the reception area, greeted us and bid us goodbye, with a smile!

So much better than the first one! This film delivers the hilarious one liners, all spoken straight faced and without a hint of irony. If you like your bad movies fun and trashy this is the way to go. The steelbook is sleek and very nice, subtle and streamlined with beautiful art. As a bad movie lover, this is a must own!

I was hopping for more of a twist on the ending, still enjoyable.

Wife loved it. Had a better, or at least had a bit of a story line to follow. Didn't think much of the first one, but wifey loved it. So we bought that one, and saw this one in theaters and then bought the 4K, preordered it for her actually. She was happy. I have to say this one wasn't bad, better than the first one.
