Purchased this movie to see what the hype may or may not have been about. Did not contain nearly as much "adult" content as I was led to believe it would. The content while somewhat shocking wasn't over the top and the ending left even me wanting to know what happens next.

I love the movie! Had been waiting for it to come out so I could buy it, especially since I loved the novels. My only criticism, as with all book-movie installments, is that there were book details left out of the movie that I thought were important to the storyline.

Good movie. Graphic. Acting was a little weak, but actors were very brave to push boundaries. Characters lacked the depth that they could have had. Perhaps directing could have been better. I liked the psychology behind the story line/subject matter. Interesting ending!

This is a must see movie if you are married or dating a woman that has read the 50 shades of gray books. This will earn you extra browny points for sure and let's be honest you have probably seen worse chick flicks in your life and they didn't have full frontal nudity.

Good job by the director, producers, and editors on bringing extremely erotic material to the big screen. Others maybe disappointed about it not following the book its based on, but if they did that then you couldn't release it in theaters. Can't wait for the sequel

The book is much better tha the movie but I still liked the movie very much. I love they have the unrated version with deleted scenes. The acting was good by Dakota Johnson but found Jamie Sorman to be a little wooden as Christine Grey could have cast someone better!

The movie is good, not as good as the book. It goes quickly through the story. I have read all 3 books and enjoyed them. One part of the movie was disturbing where in the book it was not. I would recommend the movie. The extras on the Blu-ray were very interesting.

I don't know. I didn't read the book but the movie was definitely entertaining. It is clear who the submissive is and who the dominant is, but a very grey, blurry line on who is actually controlling who. Well worth my time. Looking forward to the other two movies.

This includes the theatrical & unrated edition of the movie. The teaser for "Fifty Shades Darker" is just that, a tease. There are some bonus features on the disc, but what's keeping me from giving this 5 stars is I feel there could me more. I'd still recommend!

Since I have read the books, I anticipated hating this movie; however, they did a much better job keeping it close to the book that I imagined. I bought a copy for myself, and an additional copy for a friend's birthday. Plus, Best Buy had it for a great price!

I was scepticle about watching something like this and tried to compare it to my life style. I had an open mind and watched the entire movie thinking "what's gonna happen?" The only thing I dodnt like was the ending. I can't wait for the second one.

I got the movie on sale for $15 the day it came out. The movie was a little slow for my liking. I had never read the books but my girlfriend had read all of them. She was happy with the movie. I would not recommend for children due to the nature of this film.

As a person who doesn't like to compare a book to its movie counterpart. I just want to say that by itself did pretty good. It kept my interests which is what you want in a movie. Very sexually so I would really make sure that the kids aren't in reach of it

The movie was for the most part faithful to the book. Some things were left out but most of the important stuff remained. Considering they had to work with an R rating, everything was handled well. If you read the book, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The movie was great, sadly the blu ray disc was scratched and skipped some of the movie making the fist time experiment a 0. I have never had an issue with any movies from best buy. This film was new and never been touched and it still didn't work properly.

Although I felt they could have done better with the adaption to screen, it's an easy going guilty pleasure type movie I didn't mind adding to my collection. Bonus points were the steel box version, and I always love getting a digital copy with my blu ray!

Recently purchased the DVD " Fifty Shades of Grey" and I did enjoy it. If adult scenes bother you then do not buy it because that is what the whole movie is about. But I did enjoy the storyline, and was glad I bought it. Not for childrens viewing at all.

The movie was good but a little slow. The producer/director had a chance to do something really ground breaking with this story. However, they caved and went with the R rating leaving out the topics and scenes that the cosumer read the book for. To Bad.

The books are better then the movie, but that's the case for most movies made from books. The actor who plays Christian isn't someone I would have picked. The actress, perfect roll. I enjoyed the movie, they tamed it down A LOT, which I find tasteful.

In regard o the subject matter I was a bit cautious when deciding to purchase the dvd, however the film was beautifully photographed and dealt with the subject matter in an artful, sensuous, and sensitive manner. It is my opinion that 50 Shades is only for mature audience viewing, the subject being highly personal, requiring an open mind, and being a preference only among consenting adults.
