Good movie and so much stuff happening in this movie

I loved this movie. I loved the sequel even more!

I read the books and glad that the movies followed them.

Glad to see it and see what everyone was talking about.

My wife and I saw this movie in the theater. She had read the books. So its always nice to see how things compare. Well I thought the movie was incomplete and an adult version of twilight. I guess that impressed my wife because I was paying attention. I say all of that to say this. The unrated version should have been shown in theaters. It was a more accurate telling of the story from the book. It seemed to fill in a lot of blocks. And I don't feel some type of way for seeing it now twice. I do wish the features would go into more detail but still a good job.

Movies are rarely as good as the books upon which they are based and unfortunately this one is no different. I really liked the casting, the actors were mostly good for their roles (except Elliott, not sure what happened there) and the wardrobe and sets were fantastic. Unfortunately a lot of the nuances of the book just didn't come across in the movie. If you hadn't read the book the advancement of the plot would seem very sudden and a lot of parts were skipped that really didn't need to be. In the end though, I still enjoyed it and am not sorry I bought it.

A very Sexy romance that leaves you wanting more just like the trilogy of books. I watched the movie in the theater and frankly went in with a low expectation because the books are always better that the movie and because I didn't feel that Jamie Dornan could pull it off. By the time the movie finish I felt he not only pulled it off the part of Christian Grey but was believable and a good fit for the part. Dakota Johnson was the perfect Ana I and looking forward to seeing number 2 and the chemistry increasing between the two actors.

Overall the movie was pretty good. If you have read the book series, you probably noticed there are a few important characters introduced in the first book that play major roles in the next 2 books (yes for those of you who haven't read the series, there are 2 more books). I did enjoy the movie, like so many other books made into movies you just have to think of it as cliff notes. I love the steelbook cases offered by BestBuy. I now look for these when new movies come out become I like the look and feel of them.

I was really frustrated when my local stores didn't have this in stock so I ordered it online with store pick-up. That wouldn't would either so I called customer service and not only were they able to get the movie shipped straight to my house at no additional charge but it even arrived earlier than expected. When I opened it to check the discs one of them was not secured but does not appear to be damaged. Very happy with service and would definitely order from them again. So excited to finally have movie!

I'm a male late 30"s. Wife is 5 years younger. She read the books. She loved the books. When she was reading them for a second time, she asked me to read them. I did. I'm not in to sappy love story's. I like sifi, action, adventure. I LOVED THESE BOOKS! First one grabs you, second one is...eeehh all emotional, but the third.... the third is all car chases butt kicking and pure romance !!! This movie is an alright interpretation of the books.... hated that the very first scene is of Christian... but its a movie.... character building... I patiently await darker and the third one.... whatever its called.

For anyone who read the book or knows anything about the plot they should know what to expect from it. I did not read the book but the movie had a pretty good story for what it is and I thought had some pretty good acting from the main stars. The ending also leaves you wondering how it is going to progress and how the characters will move on in the next film. Overall, the movie was pretty satisfying and delivered on its premises. I did not find it disappointing having not read the books.

When this movie went on sale, it was time to see what all the attention it's gotten was about. In terms of exploring ideas, this was a better movie than I expected. Dakota Johnson convincingly plays a naive young woman, falling in love with a man whose sexual inclinations aren't hers. They seem to be a loving couple, caring about each other, but with very different ideas about what good sex is. Can they reconcile those differences?

The movie is well done, considering that it comes from a book. Having read the book, I know what is missing and what was changed. I'm not sure what I expected, but I was not disappointed as much as others. I think the best thing is to not expect movies that are made from books to be exactly like the book. There are some things that just cannot be done in movies. Maybe with CG, but why? I have recommended this movie to friends. It's good.

Picked up the movie for my mom because she is OBSESSED with the books, but wasn't going out that day. She watched it ASAP and she said she loved it! She said it's exactly like the books with some exceptions, obviously, to retain the rating. I'm waiting, personally, to finish the book, though! Was a little disappointed that the DVD didn't have a digital copy, but that seems to be the going trend lately, so I opted for the bluray combo pack.

If you read the series of books, you might be a bit disappointed. For those who thought that they would watch the movie because they were too lazy to read the books, you might be a bit disappointed. If you have no expectations, the move is a good one. I feel sorry for the women who read the books and then watched the movie and might have been let down. Watch the movie, then read the books is the best way to get the best experience.

After reading the books I was really looking forward to this movie. I did not feel disappointed after watching, however I feel the actor for Christian was a little off so it took some time to get used to him and believe it. Overall it needed a bit more and the acting was only so so but I wasn't expecting greatness. I did like it overall though.

If you have already seen Sam Taylor-Johnson's blockbuster Fifty Shades of Grey and it happens to be one of your favorite films this year, then you will be very pleased with Universal's Blu-ray release. The technical presentation is excellent and the film looks terrific in high-definition. More importantly, in addition to the Theatrical Version, Universal have included a slightly longer Unrated Version of the film. If you have not seen Fifty Shades of Grey yet and are wondering whether it is something worth adding to your collection, my advise is to rent it first. RENT IT.

Wonderful gift for the wife or girlfriend. Excellent script to screen adaptation from the world wide bestselling novel. Definatly worth the wait. Can't wait till the next two come out. My wife wife was counting the days till its blu ray release. "It's the Avengers' for women". No need to wait till you read the books (trilogy), the movie does a fine job covering the first book.A spicy date night movie for any couple!

50 Shades of Grey leads the viewer on to much higher expectations than the movie provides. It has the potential to be a really good movie but never follows through with what it leads the viewer to expect, scene by scene. The book is much better. Not sure why the movie was made like that, but it's a real downer, making the viewer think they missed all the best parts of the story!
