I really enjoyed the Blu-ray unedited edition of this movie. The behind the scenes features were fun to watch after seeing the theatrical and DVD films. The movie itself was better the second time, I was able to see details I missed at the theatre. The screenplay is done well and has accurate information about the lifestyle. Much better than the less than marginal effort displayed in the books.

Definitely for an adult audience. Lots of nudity, and almost all of the underlying theme of alternative/kinky adult relations is not portrayed. Tastefully directed to keep you focused on the real story and not the x-rated scenes. A little slow paced but that helps you to understand the characters better. Overall, a good movie, very good acting considering the lead actors were not well known.

Great movie for the collection. Of course it isn't as good as the book but it still meets the plot line and the characters do the book justice. I was amazed at how quickly the time went while watching it...Moves quickly. Still, despite the rumors of being toned down for the theatre, it's still a little steamy for young eyes. The packaging is really awesome, as it comes in a steel case.

My daughter, a pre teen wanted to see this very bad. Because she skipped 2 grades most the other kids are teenagers & they have seen it. I thought it was too racy for her & told her she would have to wait another year or so. Reminds me of the movie with Micky Rourek & Kim Basinger but the music is very good in it. I think it teeters on X rated myself but then again I am a parent. LOL

All things considered, this wasn't a horrible movie. The chemistry between Grey and Steele was spot on from early awkwardness to daring and curiosity. I wouldn't recommend for any awards but I would watch again. It kept me interested throughout. I didn't find myself disgusted with poor acting or bored with lame plotlines. That's more than the Twilight saga ever accomplished HAHA!

Nothing different from the regular version besides the steelbook case. The steelbook is a better case than the cheap plastic version so if you tend to step on your case then get this version instead. At the same price, you are better off getting this version. Comes with digital code so you can watch the movie anywhere. The movie itself is pretty good. Soundtrack is amazing. Movie contains a lot of adult scene so don't show this movie to kids. The movie leaves you hanging for the sequel. Stay somewhat true to the book but wih less details. I would recommend this movie.

I can't tell you how much I love this camera... it has an amazing zoom - 40 times capability!!! and the photos have been amazing! I'm still learning how to use the wifi to transfer my photos.... this is all new to me.. but what a great feature to have as well... you no longer have to download ALL your photos.. you can chose the ones you want to keep and transfer to your computer or phone or ipad. I highly recommend getting a larger memory card so you can store more data as you will want to take tons of photos and videos with this camera.

I'm gonna be honest, The girlfriend would give me looks of disgust until I purchased this item. When I did finally give in to the superior being she seemed thoroughly happy watching three to four times the first day leaving me to be absolutely happy doing nothing as most men do. I have not watched this movie myself therefore I am basing this entire review on the fact that it was watched multiple times the first day. Just remember if you told to buy a movie by your significant other you probably should to avoid being looked at in an unpleasant way.

I did not see the movie in theaters and my husband and I weren't sure it was gonna be good. We went in expecting it to be terrible and actually found ourselves laughing at the banter (which was fairly spot on to the books). Overall, a decent movie compared to the book. Wish there was more character development in the Grey family like the books, but not huge.

I was pleasantly surprised by 50 shades. I had heard really bad things about it. And fortunately I had not read the books, so I had nothing to compare it to. But ultimately I did enjoy it. The reason for the Good rating is I really do want to see what happens next. It held my interest and enjoyment long enough for me to get through it without any problem.

In my count, you only got to see two shades of grey. The movie is actually very good of you are not expecting to see shades of passion. Maybe two. In my opinion though, Dakota is perfect for this role. Not overly sexy, but certainly very sensual while still portraying innocence. If you don't get hung up in the hype, you will find his movie more enjoyable.

Of course more detail can be put in a book. I had to see the movie for myself though. I was disappointed at the place chosen to end this first of who knows how many sequels. I will watch the next one just to see how it plays out versus the book. If you have read the books, you may be disappointed, but curious like me, and chose to see the movie anyway.

I did not read any of the books, so I had nothing to compare it to. For the previous reviews I had heard, I really thought the movie would be more on the verge of a rated x movie and it wasn't. It's just a typical rated r movie. I guess this is why those who read the books were disappointed. It does make for a good intimate couples night movie.

I hated the book because her writing style was so horrible, but the scriptwriters have managed to take what little material they had and improve upon it to make a decent movie. It's not going to win any rewards, but it's a fun guilty pleasure. Love the steel book case, too.

This movie delves into erotica and what dark desires that became instilled in the mind of a young lad and became a lifestyle and emotional need. When he finds another type of caring it turns his world upside down causing him to reconsider that lifestyle. Interesting and well acted but not a family movie night choice

I was concerned about watching the movie and whether or not it would be too much for me. Many friends told me it was not what I believed it to be. It is definitely not meant for everyone, especially individuals that are sensitive to the subject matter portrayed in the movie. Over all it is a good movie. It was not what I had believed it to be. I bought the movie because I would have had to pay to see it on other services. I think it was worth it.

I went to see this movie at the theater and I must admit that I enjoyed the storyline! I was intrigued by the subject matter and could not wait for the BluRay disc to come out! This is decent entertainment for a good night with your significant other because the movie begs you to ask each other, Can I really trust you?!!!!!!!!

For those that read the books, we expected more but you can only put in so much into a movie to keep it an R rating. The unrated version really doesn't have any more than what was shown in the movie. The alternate ending is interesting but I still like the original ending better. Otherwise the movie itself was pretty good.
