This movie is not everyone's cup of tea; the plot is pretty predictable and unbelievable. However, fans of Jamie Dornan will not be disappointed. For fans of him, and trashy romances (which I am) I would recommend this movie.

this is one of the better collectors editions of this movie. It will be exciting to see the rest. I myself bought several copies of this one. The director did a great job casting Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey (even though it seems they may have put them in the rolls to keep their payroll down for the first film). But it is certainly a great product!

I loved seeing Fifty Shades of Grey in the theater, and was very excited when it was time to pre order the DVD. It was hard choosing between Target, Walmart, and Amazon. I finally chose Best Buy because I had never owned or even heard of a Steelbook. The steelbook feels expensive and looks fancy, but they could have done so much more with the cover art.

Every one I know said this is the movie you got to see. Every place I go that is all everyone is talking about so I just had to get a copy of it. The un-rated copy is great so much more then the one you see at the show. Has a showing at home with several friends it turned into the best party this year the only way to see it is with friends. Go for it

I read the book and didn't care that much for it because it sounded like a dirty version of Twilight minus the vampires... But after watching the movie I would recommend anyone to watch it! It's good dark sided love story!

I must confess to having not watched the film, I bought it for a customer in the UK. I am thrilled that Best Buy continues to put out mainstream movies in the exclusive Steelbook packaging. Pick this up before its gone!!

My wife had enjoyed this movie in the theatres, and was looking forward to it on Blu-Ray. I, personally, have not seen it, but she again enjoyed it at home and stated the picture quality and sound of the Blu-Ray did not disappoint. The extras were good and worth viewing. I am sure as the other movies are released, those will be enjoyed as well.

For someone who did NOT read the books, the movie was pretty good. Although, was a little disappointed by what I did hear from all the readers. I expected a little more raunchiness, but movie was done tastefully.

As a standalone film, I felt that 50 Shades of Grey was quite amazing. Some things were a little different from the book, but for the most part it stayed true to the theme. I can't wait for them to release the next one!

Entertaining movie worth the watch, there is more to it than just the S&M piece. Took wife to see it in theater and she liked enough she wanted it when it came out on Blue ray. To each is own, but we enjoyed the movie.

In the beginning I thought it's just a movie about love stories between 2 young people and then bunch of R rated scenes and how the guy has this weird fetish, but there's way more to it than that. I did just watch the 3rd movie in this series and thought it's very good, the entire series is worth watching.

I bought this for my wife. She really liked it, but she said that it's a tamer version then the book. For me any chance to look at beautiful women being sexy and not have to worry about the repercussions, it's a win.

The second time I saw this movie I like it more. At the movies I was more comparing the movie and the book and not enjoying the movie. Now that I have it I can take my time and watch and enjoy all the extra stuffs.

Tried to get my wife to go see this at the movies but she was convinced it was some type of very naughty movie, so we never got to go see it! So when i saw it was available in a collector tin i bought it so we could watch it in the privacy of our own home and the wife agreed it wasn't half as naughty as some late nite show-time movies.

I saw the movie at the movie theater prior to buying it. The unedited version with the alternate ending was fantastic. There were a few additional little scenes but the alternate ending is what made the movie. It should have been the original ending. Overall the movie stayed very true to the book. Can't wait to see Fifty Shades Darker!

I went into this movie with very low expectations ,but, I was pleasantly surprised. It is true that there are striking similarities to Twilight, but, that was mainly at the beginning. I thought the acting was good, and, the story kept me interested. There is an abundance of graphic content, and my kids definitely won't be watching it.

This isn't my usual movie nor was it my usual type of book. I read long after everyone else..I watched the movie because I read and liked the books. The movie was good but like most they just left so much out.

After reading the books, my wife wanted the movie. Having not read the books myself, I cannot comment on the differences. The movie itself was not bad; maybe a little too rushed in trying to make it romantic.

I was surprised how well the movie followed the book.. Some of the scenes and characters I would've changed some.. I know a lot of work went into choosing them but.. Christian had women all over the world built to have a certain look and I think he didn't quite capture that! But still am looking forward to the rest of the trilogy

This was an impulse buy. It's like you're at a food truck and you wanna try the beef burrito but you wanna stay safe and you just get the bottled Coke or if you're on a diet, the Diet Coke ! Anything that is wrapped like the packaged donuts are safe. Impulse buy so you can watch it with chicks
